If you're like most of us, after a while your computer starts to behave like, well, the über drunk guy at your cousin's wedding. Movies stutter and skip, video games turn into slideshows, and web pages load like molasses.
Why the drunken display? It’s because all of the applications you have running eat away at available system memory, refusing to release all of it even when you quit them.
Fresh RAM is like a shot in the arm for your computer. By optimizing the ways in which your system and applications are utilizing memory, Fresh RAM can boost your computer’s performance, helping you avoid the costly expense of hardware upgrades!
Don’t let Fresh RAM's friendly and intuitive interface fool you – underneath those easy-to-understand pie charts and graphs lies an engine of complex memory analysis algorithms that allow you to balance speed and effectiveness and run memory optimizations that will have all of your applications running like butter. Combine these optimizations with the included Windows XP tweaks, and your machine will be running just as fast as the day it rolled off of the assembly line!
Curious about which of your apps eats the most memory? Fresh RAM's Process RAM Usage Identifier shows you the biggest memory hoggers, while automatic memory optimization options will free up memory when you need it the most!

Are you guilty of letting your digital photos build up on your camera’s memory card? It’s not that you keep forgetting to import them into your computer, it’s just that you’ve been putting it off as a major chore – you have to hook up your camera, import the pictures, sort them by date, and organize them, even though the numerically assigned filenames (think DP0003.JPG means “beach”?) make no sense to you.
RoboImport literally makes importing and organizing your digital photos a hands-free affair! All you need to do is connect your digital camera to your computer – RoboImport takes care of everything else!
Don’t believe me? RoboImport automatically launches when you connect your camera, creates separate folders to hold your images, then imports your photos into those folders, automatically renaming files and performing image editing operations to make them perfect! Wait, it gets better – RoboImport also embeds copyright information into each photo, backs up the entire collection to external disk, deletes the pictures from the camera card, and ejects the camera as a device! You’re only responsible for hooking up the camera at the beginning, and disconnecting the camera when RoboImport is done.
RoboImport solves one of the stickiest issues with digital photos – obscure file names. Using RoboImport’s unique token system of variables, you’ll be able to maintain your photo collection as a series of easily-identifiable file names stored in descriptive folders. RoboImport is even smart enough to separate your high-res RAW images from your JPEG files!
The program sounds fine for photos still on my camera, but can it handle photos copied off the camera. For instance in the past I've just taken a snapshot of my SD card and transfered it to somewhere on my C Drive keeping the same directory structure as the camera used on the SD card. Can I somehow point RoboImport at root of those directories and have it import those photos just as it would had they been in my camera?
Thanks for the comment Pedro. Yes, RoboImport can import the media files: - from a folder or/and files on your computer - from the connected removable drives and cameras - directly from the all Canon camera via Canon SDK Just point the RoboImport to a folder with your photos and you will seen a live preview of your destination file/folder structure without copying any files.
How does RoboImport handles IPTC data? I have used the likes of Photo Mechanic, and it will embed the IPTC data in the RAW file. Does RoboImport do this? Does it handle Nikon NEF files, and embed IPTC as well? (I do not like XMP sidecar files, as they may get displaced from the originals.)
RoboImport have built-in IPTC editor to add picture describing information to the photos on the fly during transfer from camera to a PC. But unfortunately RI doesn't support writing information directly to NEF files because it's an internal Nikon corporation format (to prevent any possible damages). You can only select the option to automatically convert the NEF files to DNG (on the fly of course) and write information to XMP. RoboImport supports IPTC-writing feature for JPEG and TIFF files (and mapping to DNG's XMP)
Are there any options/offers for getting the PicaJet tool for a discounted price after becoming a licensed user of RoboImport? (I'm kicking myself for missing it in June...)
