Sh Ho Good morning. I am interested in purchasing your product and I have a few questions that I hope you will not mind answering.

What resolution will the on-screen video be captured at? That is, if I am making a video of myself playing a computer game at 720/1080P, will it be captured at that resolution as well? What if I am playing at that resolution in Windowed mode (I'm using Win 7 Pro); will the final resolution be 1:1 with the inputted video (no black bars, etc)? I am of course assuming that I can direct 1AVCenter to do a video screen capture of a selected area of the screen if I so desire.


I did not see an option for a lifetime license on your website; is it available?

Are you aware of any independent review sites that have evaluated your product? If so, can you provide links?

Alex Ferri Response to Sh Ho: Yes, 1AVCenter can record any dimension of video you select with the 'Select Region' tool. Same dialog where you define how many frames per second your video is going to have.

We do have lifetime licenses. They are sold for 60% of the product cost. That will show on the website too.

1AVCenter has many reviews but I guess the most important one is the 5 cows rating from Tucows, highest score of Tucows:

D Rex I have a USB connected Plantronics DSP-400 Headset that I use for online conferences and presentations. A previous screen recording software I tried was not able to pickup the sound from my DSP-400 headset microphone. If I recall correctly, it did pick up the incoming sound I hear through the headset. Will 1AVCenter record the sound to and from a USB connected DSP headset?

Also, does it support capture from windows on a second monitor using extended desktop?

And no, it only captures and records and monitors the main monitor.

My advice is for you to test it a bit to verify if it works for your purpose.

Vivaldi Regarding paying for the software: The payment page uses Paypal to process the credit card, but it appears it will only do that through a Paypal account. The button on the page appears to require the creation of a Paypal account if you don't already have one. I will not create one, so that isn't an option. However, I do know, because I regularly do another transaction this way, that Paypal will process credit card payments without the cardholder having a Paypal account. Am I missing something on the payment page, or is it not an option here?
