Thomas Klabunde Hi,

@g hudak: Yes, a physical key can be combined with a password.

@jack hath:
1) Our software has no limit at logon accounts. For a computer multiple accounts can be created and one USB-stick can be trained for several computers.
2) For lost or damaged an emergency key (SecureID) is offered.

@Craig S.: Our software abylon LOGON is also für Win 10, including Online-accounts .

@KimY:
1) Because of security reasons from a key can't be created a copy (baclkup). However, a second key (or more) can be trained with the same credentials,
2) Do you mean our "SecureID"? The SecureID is an emergency password, which can be used to sign up as an alternative.
3) If the password is deleted, can no longer log you in.

Serious Noize Is this supposed to "Autolock" when the USB Key has been removed? I unchecked the menu show option and was wondering how I get that back. I would like for this to lock my PC when I unplug the USB Key.

Thomas Klabunde Hello,

@Serious Noize:
If the selection dialog has been disabled, this can be re-activated in the settings on the site "Common -> Settings" about the icon "Restore Messages".

@g hudak:
After Central European Time I've been waiting all day Saturday on requests. Toward evening I gone home....
I am sure that bdj sometime promote our software again. Otherwise, our software can always be tested for free for 30 days.

Serious Noize Thank you abylonsoft. I found the selection you mentioned, although it is called "Messages Reset". I really like this software. I keep an Image backup of my PC just in case and after trying this the first time I was a bit confused so I restored my PC from my Image backup, not a problem for me at all and my own choice. Then I figured out how to use it properly.

I must say, one of the problems I was having to begin with was defining in the "Login Accounts" the Domain section : I realized it should be the name of my desktop, that might throw a few people for a loop because it kept reading something like "Any Desktop" after figuring that out and naming it to my Desktop name I didn't have any more problems.

Something I am curious about, the encryption factor of this. I am assuming that it is for the "Key" or "DEVICE" be it USB or whatever being encrypted so that if you lose it someone can't steal your password? Or does it encrypt your PC.

Reason I ask is, that deletion part. My only suggestion would be that you have better documentation because a lot of features in this program aren't defined well enough.

Either way, I really like it, and I may purchase it in the very near future. Also liked you EXIF Erase program, although I lost that one. I had just got a new PC and I was tweaking it to perfection/Restore/Try/Restore and finally got it where I want it and lost the free license, although that is a really good program also, I may purchase it also sometime in the near future.

Thank you for your time answering my question and for the software.

Thomas Klabunde Hello Serious Noize,
for questions we are always happy to help. It is clear to us that the help file needs to be revised. Unfortunately, our native language is not English.

How correctly assumed, the encryption is required for securing the credentials.

As domain can specify the following:

a) Domain name
b) Computer name
c) "ANYCLIENT" (without quotation marks)

Normally the computer name should be given there, so that no adjustment is necessary.

Thomas Klabunde Hello Gunderic Hagen,
I do not want to talk badly about your technicians. Also, I can not rule out that our software is infected by malicious software. There is no 100% security in the digital age. If our setup were affected, the one or the other would certainly have been reported to us or BDJ.
As already written above, are also virus scanner not error-free. And false-positve judgments are more common than you think.
Ultimately, everyone must form their own opinion on this issue.

Thomas Klabunde Hi RichU,
I'm not sure I understand your question correctly. You want to prevent the automatic reboot of a Windows PC, for example for a Windows update?
If you mean this, I have to disappoint you. Our abylon LOGON software does not offer this functionality.

The software is primarily used for automatic Windows logon with a hardware key (e. g. chip card or USB stick).

Thomas Klabunde Since the comments were posted last night, I would like to give the answer now:

@HJ B: We support a number of tokens as hardware keys:
- External storage media (e.g. USB stick)
- CDs / DVDs
- Processor chip cards (In our shop we offer ACOS3)
- Bluetooth devices (Please check the stability of the used hardware!)
- RFID smart cards (e.g. Mifare Classic, ATTENTION only abylon LOGON SSO Pro and abylon LOGON Business)
- Certificate smart cards and USB tokens (ATTENTION only abylon LOGON SSO Pro and abylon LOGON Business)

The best way is to test it or contact us directly if you have specific questions.

@JW: On our homepage https://www.abylonsoft.com/logon/ we have published an overview table.
In a few words, abylon LOGON is rather for single computers and abylon LOGON for domain and workgroup networks with central administration. In addition, more tokens are supported.

For concrete questions, please contact us.
