Is it windows 7 32/64 bit compatible? If no. When will be a new version to use with windows 7?

This is abandonware and support sucks; avoid.

Be sure to expand the "Old Comments" section above and read the notes -- this v10 product is apparently a disaster on Vista. (I have used Acronis Disk Director v9 on Windows XP only, and it has worked okay for me. So I thought I'd take a look at this v10 to see if it offered anything useful.)

I can't understand this Acronis company - they have made some good products (like TrueImage Home v8 and TrueImage Workstation v9 - though you need to watch the Wilder forum to see which builds are stable - they release a lot of buggy ones), but they've also created some real stinkers, and they don't then do anything to help the poor customers who bought them..

I see that they did not respond to any of the questions recently posted here -- nor to any from last August. For those reasons, I'd advise passing on this and waiting for another BDJ sale on Paragon partitioning software.

They are beginning to give BdJ a bad name...they should be banned from here.

It doesn't work with Windows 7.

BDJ - You need to be more selective in your software offerings. A few are extremely problematic. Maybe just review other tech hubs and read their reviews first.

1826: Acronis Disk Director Product Line Development
    Created - Feb 5, 2009; Updated - Mar 2, 2010; Access Level - Public
As of 2010, Acronis Development Team is working on releasing a new version of Acronis Disk Director.
At the moment, there is no specific date for the release.

I suppose the $29.99 upgrade fee to the usable product will be waived if released within a year of a purchase today.

While waiting for version 11, consider a free alternative:

A very outdated program that never worked with Vista even though it was supposed to have been updated. Don't hold your breath for a Windows 7 update. I would absolutely stay away from this at all costs. If you need a partitioning utility you could try Easeus Partition Master. Free and works well. At least unlike Acronis disk Director it does not leave your computer unable to boot.

Yes I agree with Jon above. I used v9 on XP and was happy but v10 was a disaster on Vista. Crashed my PC several times until I uninstalled it completely and moved to competition. Very sad that the new v10 from a reputable company has gone down the toilet.
