Say you were in charge of delivering chart-based data using websites, and you wanted to be sure that your charts rendered properly inside of the browser without needing to be downloaded or opened using another application. Do you program it from scratch? Hire an expensive consultant? Or put your faith into the amazing capabilities of today's discount software promotion -- arcadiaCharts?

arcadiaCharts lets you put interactive JavaScript charts into your websites which run in all browsers without needing any plugins! With arcadiaCharts, you can create charts that don't require any server-side code, using innovative JavaScript and HTML5 techniques. It's way better and more reliable than Flash!

When you use arcadiaCharts, you're stepping into a world of interactive charts with the ultimate flexibility. Apply colors and styles, define axis types, and import your own data in CSV format. As for the charts themselves, you can opt to display line charts, pie charts, bars and columns, or combined charts that suit particular types of data perfectly.

umike Your chart is quite pretty. A few questions:

- I need to install Arcadia charts in a website with many sub-domains. Each sub-domain is located in different server and has different ip. Will this be a problem?

- All your charts have a footer "arcadiacharts" linked to your site. Can I get rid of this footer?

Hoang-Tran Vo 1) Technically it should be no problem at all.
Should any question arise during the usage of ArcadiaCharts, please feel free to get in touch with our dedicate and responsive technical support at: supportATarcadiacharts.com . (Please replace the "AT" with an "@".)

Regarding the license, how does the structure of your website look like? E.g.:

blog.xyz.com
forum.xyz.com
pages.xyz.com ... ?

2) The footer is only in the free version of ArcadiaCharts and will be removed after you have purchased a license.

Yfor Is there a way to use a less rigid data format (such as JSON) as input? For use cases where you want to build a graph from data fetched from a web service? I can't find anything about this in the documentation and really need it -- otherwise i'd have to convert from JSON to CSV on every call, which seems like a waste of CPU cycles and development time.

Hoang-Tran Vo ArcadiaCharts is developed to gradually support the following data formats:

- CSV-format in an external file or as string: implemented
- JSON-format in an external file or as string: in schedule
- XML-format in an external file or as string: in schedule
- ValueSet2D-Objects (a format specific to arcadiaCharts): impl.

CSV is fully supported. JSON is the next option scheduled to be implemented within the next intermediate updates.

Yfor Thank you. I bought a license and I will now wait until you deliver on the JSON format. Hopefully that will not take too long.

A side-note: "interactive charts" suggest that you can somehow click on the chart and modify it interactively. As far as I know, this is not what your library delivers and probably not what you mean either. If you mean that the charts interact with the data they are built from, then that doesn't make them interactive: it's just how charts are made. Unless your library also provides some direct interactive controls, you might want to revise the wording on your website and elsewhere.

Hoang-Tran Vo Thanks for your purchase and suggestion. We have some demo charts with interactivities on our website, which can be created with basic HTML/javascript:

But you are right and we are also fully aware that more features would be welcome and thus scheduled them accordingly to. We are happy to have released a stable and appealing 1.0.3 version and now are looking forward to add more cool features in the coming free updates. As mentioned, one of the top priority feature is the support for JSON. We are also very thankful for any feedback and suggestion.

Jonathan Keener Since the license is tied to a specific domain, I had a quick question.

Do I need to specify this domain at the time of purchase or is this something I can determine later on?

Is the domain changeable later on if I choose to move it to a different domain?

Hoang-Tran Vo No, you do not need to specify the domain at the time of purchase.

You can also change the domain later on. There is no restriction on that but the amount of domain(s) the library is used for/installed on at the same time.

scribbly gum What plans are there for implementing other chart types. I'm keen on a spider chart (amongst other things)

Hoang-Tran Vo We are currently concentrating on essential features like further speed enhancement, support for other data import sources, interactivities and are collecting suggestions for chart types. The new chart types will follow right after that.
