Quill Pen Amit, the blue tab "THE FINE PRINT" suggests that you have to install it today, which is the standard policy for giveaways. "Your receipt email will contain a link to download and install the software. This will not be accessible after the promotion has expired, so download it immediately."

I'm more concerned about wasting my time even bothering to download this if their "hardware footprint" means they expect me to disable my blockers and privacy obfuscators. IMHO, hardware fingerprinting is an invasive and totally unnecessary stunt to impose on people trialing software. Another firm pulls this stunt and it creates an impassable roadblock so I can't get their product to run.

The other ugly thing more and more vendors are opting for is to demand that we allow google to stick their grubby data-mining snout into our PC and private lives acting as the man-in-the-middle with a captcha challenge.

UPDATE: After my crabby rant about hardware fingerprints, felt it only fair that I should try to install and give a review. Encountered 2 minor errors but surprisingly no indication of a failed hardware fingerprint attempt (unlike the brick wall encountered with the aforementioned other vendor.)

During install, the black DOS command prompt window remained blank the whole time until it just disappeared. VOIZ attempted to call out to the vendor and of course, due to our security protocols it couldn't, so I got a pop up error - "cannot reach something (gave a //truncated address.) The message failed to say which exe file was attempting to call out so I couldn't give clearance through our firewall.

However, upon closing that pop up, registration reported it was "successful" (yay) but then another odd error message popped up - "Cannot close VCS automatically. Please close it manually and press 'OK' Did that, and it only occurred once. Further opens and closes worked fine and registration does show as successful.

Although no fan of proprietary nonstandard little GUIs, I headed straight to settings and easily disabled "enable autoupdate." Was pleased to see "Launch at Startup" was not pre-enabled. Would like to know (via hover alt text maybe) what the HookMc vs VadMoc option meant without having to chase down an answer but that's a minor quibble.

VoizGame seens geared mainly to kids who'll enjoy the artificial voices (animals, fantasy, etc.) It leaves a LOT to be desired if the objective is to disguise an adult voice. Going beyond 1 set of little dot boxes away from center with pitch/timber options gets to sounding like:
*** Alvin the chipmunk in a hollow tree
*** someone using a computer voice box or
*** a drunk male.

I'd suggest selecting one of the preset female (or male) voice options as that offers a starting point for more versatility/realism, and then tinker with the Hz band range knobs. You can eek out a reasonably passable faux persona, though I have doubts such tinkering could result in impersonations of well known voices such as Dame Judith Dench or The Donald.

For gamers, the fantasy voices can provide amusement, but a male or female SOHO owner trying to hide from creditors by pretending to be an opposite sex office assistant saying "the check's in the mail" - not gonna happen.... unless I overlooked something. Would love to hear details from anyone who enjoyed more success.

The EULA is a bit over the top. You agree not to use the Software in any manner that is "illegal, unethical, harassing, threatening, intimidating, abusive, obscene, profane, defamatory, hateful, or a nuisance." Which set of speech police on which side of the polarized political aisle gets to decide? :))
