- does it supports incrementa/differential backup? or it does a full backup every time?
- does support scheduling?
- does support backup to ftp server, or cloud services? (and: does support proxy?)

P Weber Quick question - and I hope I can be clear (sometimes I'm just not very good at that):

Can I backup a certain date range, go back into Outlook, delete those emails in that date range; backup a sequential date range, go back into Outlook, delete those emails in that date range; etc. etc. until I've tidied up my Outlook?

I get an incredible amount of email; I rarely delete any of it because I often have to go back and retrace certain incidents / actions. Therefore, my Outlook become corrupt with some regularity. Being able to backup to separate files would be fabulous.

VLM Does it back up and restore email accounts and groups, including passwords?

P Weber - I addressed this problem by creating specialized pst files for certain classes of information, then moved/filtered everything relevant into those. I don't mean folders, I mean actual pst files. Things seem to run much more smoothly this way. Just an idea!

I'm very sorry but the passwords are encrypted.
If you restore your Outlook in the same user account then the passwords can be restored. But not if you restore in another user account.

Thomas Wetzel @P Weber: 'Backup Outlook' backs up always the complete Outlook data file. I'm very sorry but you can't narrow it to a specific time range. It is planned in future releases that you can restore only specific folders or items or within a given time range.

Yes, scheduling is possible.
I'm very sorry but backup to a ftp server or cloud service is not supported. Usually this doesn't make sense because the Outlook data file can be several GB big in size.

Aaron Weiner BackupOutlook has saved me tons of time and data. If you are just moving Outlook data to a new system or trying to recover from a system crash, BackupOutlook works perfectly. Both scenarios have happened to me.

Sure you could copy your PST but that will not backup everything. BackupOutlook get all your settings and data that other tools do not.

By far the best way to automate your Outlook Backup.

dylan connors Bought this the last time it was offered. Does a great job on backing up my outlook '07. Have used the restore on a few occasions and it worked perfectly. Definitely worth $15.

M M Your policy is too concise. Can the license be moved to another computer? Otherwise it is not be "indefinitely" but 2-4 years max.

If you are afraid of people switching back and forth among computers, maybe you could prevent moving the license "back" to the old hardware?
