Clipdiary
Manage Clipboard History
When the concept was first introduced, the Windows Clipboard was pretty useful - you copy information to it, then you paste that item to wherever you need it. But, as our information needs evolve, we've grown to find Windows Clipboard fairly limiting - it can only hold a single item at a time, and if you want to copy something else, you have to settle for losing whatever you copied last. Plus, when you power down your machine for the night - POOF, whatever was on the Clipboard is gone. Unless, of course, you use Clipdiary.
Clipdiary is a clipboard manager that tracks the complete history of things that you've copied to the clipboard! At any given moment, you can call up Clipdiary and paste an item that you copied to it yesterday, last week, last month, even last year! You're only limited by the date that you installed Clipdiary!
Clipdiary launches at Windows startup and can store data in multiple formats, not just text. You can paste plain text, RTF files, HTML snippets, BMP images and more! Imagine having a database of screenshots that you can access at any time! Once your clipboard history gets long, you'll be happy to know that Clipdiary has a handy search function that will filter your results as you type. Plus, you never have to worry about disk space or memory usage with Clipdiary -- the program compresses your data before saving it to the database, and only the last five clips are loaded into memory at any given time!
