Michael R. Can I create a zoom-in and auto-pan (following the cursor) after the recording?

In my imagination I first do a record of the complete area I want to record and afterwards, as if I had a video-tool, I can do a zoom to a certain region inside the primarily recorded area or do a follow-the-cursor effect (which will be possible only if the cursor movement is recorded separetely from the video!?)

After having done all this, I would let DemoCreator encode the project with all the effects to the desired output-format...

Is this imagination of the process of mine correct?

b g I hope the software support people will be reviewing these questions and providing answers before the deadline to purchase . . . I hope to buy this software but not before I can get some clarification on the following:
1. I am a 1 person shop so the “users” concept is simple. How many machines can this be installed upon? I am not nimble-fingered (or brained) so they would only be used one at a time.

2. I am assuming this is for v3.5. What is the upgrade policy for this purchase?

3. Can I sell a “how to” instructional video as that or must it be sold as a “service” (See Wang to Martin above, dated 9/24)? What would such a sales contract look like that would satisfy the software vendor.
