Bruno Verschraegen Hi, DSA2 comes from Serif but does not seem to feature on the Serif website (anymore). And usually the BdJ page provides a link to the publisher's website. Does this mean DSA2 is "obsolete"?
The scrapbook programme featured on Serif's site is called Craft Artist Platinum Edition. Is it fair to assume DSA2 is a predecessor to the Platinum Edition?

Kayla Anders CraftArtist is the successor to DSA, While Serif's site only features the platinum version, Daisytrail.com features other versions of CraftArtist. DSA2 is still pretty good software. I'm not a fan of Serif's activation process and I try to use their online activation whenever possible.

Kayla is correct- DSA2 is the previous version of Craft Artist featured on the Serif website. We’re using the previous version of the software with this deal so we can offer buyers a generous discount. DSA2 isn’t obsolete, we do still sell this version, but at a lower price (we do this with most of our products so we can offer customers more affordable alternatives to the latest versions)

DSA2 won’t have the new features that Craft Artist has, but is still a very powerful and sophisticated piece of Craft software at an incredible price exclusive to Bits Du Jour.

Robert – As standard Serif don’t offer a full trial version but we have ‘Starter Editions’ you can download- these have no expiry and limited features compared to the full versions, but will give you a feel for the software and its capabilities. You can download this for free here:

However keep in mind that the full version of DSA2 won’t have exactly the same features and interface as this Craft Artist Compact version

Just to clarify the full version of DSA2 does not require registration (online or telephone).

Thanks for your question. Digital Scrapbook Artist 2 has 5 ‘Digikits’ included- Digikits include everything you need to create a design including letters, backgrounds, embellishments and templates. The Digikits included in the DSA2 download offer a total of 32 different templates.

However there are many more Digikits available on Daisytrail.com that include various templates, some of which are completely free to download.

Bruno Verschraegen Hello, would like to buy and offer this programme to someone else. I am not 100% sure, but I think when I bought and installed Serif's WebPlus X5, it gave me the option to choose between different languages - Italian being one of them. Can someone tel me if Digital Scrapbook Artist 2 also installs in Italian?
