I know there are freeware disk folder size programs, I've used some of them. I've also used some paid ones but the ease in which this software can be used, together with the duplicate file finder feature makes this program a must-have.
I found 7GB of cached files from my dropbox account stored on my C drive. Dropbox doesn't have a feature where you can delete the cache so my C drive image backups were so much bigger. I can also find programs that take up a lot of space and decide if I really do need them. The graphical representation of the folder sizes is great. Click on the segment to drill into the next level. In minutes, you'll see where your disk space is being used up.
For the discounted price this little piece of software should be part of your utility arsenal.

Jason Howard I have been reading that DSF Pro will detect duplicate files - but the examples and the procedure to do this would indicate that it can only locate duplicates on a single volume (or drive letter).

Can DSF Pro detect duplicates when each of the duplicate files are on a different drive letter (requiring a separate scan)?

eg. I want to find duplicate files across my C,D,F and L drives.

It does not support scanning all disks in current version. We will add it in the next version. I think it will release in two weeks. All registered users can get a free update.

Jonathan Keener I just ordered this, and one inconsistency I noticed is that above, on this site, you state "Free upgrades for life". In the email with the registration key, you state: "We offer free minor version upgrade and bug fixes."

Which is the correct upgrade policy for orders placed today through Bitsdujour?

Software Guy I would like the serial number agreement resent with the free lifetime upgrades, NOT the minor upgrades as stated in the notification. The terms are clear on the bitsdujour website - free upgrades for life. Thanks!

We made a mistake in the email. We'll correct it. The update is free for lifetime.

Please open the Setting window, select "Duplicate Files" tab, and make "Scan with hash" selected.
