"It's one of the smoothest-running PC maintenance programs we've ever come across." -- Top Ten Reviews, 2014

Driver Reviver driver update software is the most accurate and effective way to quickly and easily update all of the drivers in your system, immediately improving performance!

Your PC is acting sluggish again! Only this time, instead of spending the money to upgrade components or buy a new machine, why not just try a driver update? It's true -- without the most up-to-date drivers, many of your system's components and peripherals will start to experience performance hits.

The process of a driver update can be daunting. Finding the right drivers yourself, let alone the right drivers for your operating system (eg: specific Windows 7 drivers) is time consuming and even potentially risky. This driver update software can do that for you!

Say goodbye to trolling the internet looking for the right drivers! And watch out -- if you install the wrong driver, you may even experience lockups and system instability, and many pieces of malware masquerade as legitimate driver files! Driver Reviver accesses one of the world's largest windows driver databases and quickly determines which of your system's drivers are obsolete. Just a few clicks later, and you're on your way to downloading and installing updated windows drivers, and giving your PC renewed life.

Just in case you're nervous about updating all of those drivers at once, Driver Reviver lets you establish a convenient restore point, letting you roll back to your original settings should anything go horribly wrong!

ReviverSoft Duncan and David,

Thanks for the feedback! We appreciate it.

At this stage, we need to charge a yearly fee to support the research, development and maintenance of our products to be able to constantly improve upon on them and keep it High Quality.

For instance, maintaining an ever-growing database of tested and validated drivers is no easy task, but we work hard to do so.

Additionally, we also offer FREE product updates and upgrades to all users with a subscription, which quite a few companies make you pay for.

Product renewals are also made affordable with great discounts for returning customers, ultimately offering great value to users.

That said, we definitely intend to offer better long term subscriptions plans in the future.

David, we do offer tailor-made plans for Certified IT Techs. If you are one, please write to support for more details.

Thank you for understanding.

Sincerely,
ReviverSoft

Nick Kobe I'm interested in Driver Reviver. However, I have 1 desktop computer, 3 tablets, and 3 laptops. I use all of these computers depending on my needs. How does this program compare to Drive Detective? Do you have plans for a "user" license? Though I probably own more computers than the average user it is much more common for users to own multiple computers. Frankly, I do not buy software that does not offer a "user" license since it is very costly and cumbersome to mange licenses. Please email me when you offer a "user" license as I'd like to buy.

SoftCollector Dear all,

1. Of all the driver update software that I have tested, this is the only one that has worked for me without a glitch.

2. I also like buying software with lifetime upgrades. Maybe if the price of your software with lifetime upgrades was equal to 2 or 3 years of subscription payments you could afford it? Alternatively, devising a scheme of discounts for 2 or 3 years of subscriptions, bought with the original purchase might also be good.

3. A suggestion: when drivers are installed, some of them require that you restart your computer. It would be nice to show a warning NOT to restart until the installation of all drivers is complete.

4. And finally, is this promo coming back any time soon?

Kind Regards,
SC

ReviverSoft Hi Nick and Steven,

Sorry about the late response.

"How does this program compare to Drive Detective?"
DR doesn't just show you all the updates available, but helps you install the latest, most reliable updates available for your drivers in a few, easy clicks. We'd like to say DR combines a well-refined scan engine, a massive database of safe and tested drivers and a robust user interface to make updating drivers effortless. The high degree of professional after-sales support is probably the best part.

As for your second question, I'm afraid we don't offer a multi-user license just yet, but it's definitely in the works. At this stage though, we work with our customers on a case-to-case basis and offer them a tailor-made solution.

Ideally, we try to offer customers the best in terms of pricing and support for the purchase of multiple licenses. We understand the growing need for such licensing plans and expect to have something available very soon.

That said,we're going to take note of your requests here and will keep you posted via email.

Thanks for all the feedback!

Sincerely,
ReviverSoft

ReviverSoft Hi SoftCollector,

Thanks for the feedback.

We're glad to hear that Driver Reviver has been keeping your drivers up-to-date and running reliably. There is a lot of behind-the-scenes action to ensure that the program works well and that the drivers you receive are recent, safe and reliable.

We understand how lifetime upgrades can offer a lot of value and try our best to offer attractive renewal plans to all our customers. Our renewal offers range from discounted prices to extended license validity for the period of the subscription. So it's just a matter of time really, before we start offering some exciting purchase options upfront.

About the restart warning with driver installations, are you able to confirm that this is the case with Driver Reviver 4.0.1? If Yes, please drop us a line at supportreviversoft.com with further details and we'll get back to you right away.

About the promo, we're not quite sure which one you're referring to. Perhaps, you can also include that information in your email?

We hope this helps.

Sincerely,
ReviverSoft

ReviverSoft Hi SoftCollector,

We only mentioned Driver Detective in response to Nick's comment. Please be assured that Driver Detective is not a product of ReviverSoft and is not affiliated with ReviverSoft's Driver Reviver in any way, although they are similar in function.

Also, I believe the promotion on this page is currently active and offers you a 40% discount on the MRP of $29.99.

Hope this helps.

Brad Rogers Purchased a license this morning and used it once. Now it tells me the license has been used already and I have to purchase an additional license. I have only installed it on one computer. I did update all drivers but I also updated my motherboard drivers and bios. Maybe it has changed my computer ID. How do I fix this and if I can't how do I get a refund?
Thanks

ReviverSoft Hi Brad,

Thanks for sharing your concern. We believe the BIOS update affected your license status because it is one of the key parameters that we use to generate a User ID for your PC.

In general, major changes in your computer hardware or the Windows OS may affect your license status, in which case a quick email to supportreviversoft.com will help you reactivate the product again! (I see that you've been assisted by our team)

As for the difference in results, please write to support with the exact details of the driver updates and maybe screenshots supporting your claim. Our team will be happy to investigate further and offer you an update.

Sincerely,

Tore Hoyem Hi.

From the last two posts it seems clear that DR is hardware locked (activated) to the first unit it's installed on.

It would be good if this was mentioned in the policy section, as many of us base our purchasing choices on such things.

Cheers.

ReviverSoft Hi Tore,

Thanks for your comment.

We do advertise that the product comes with a "1 PC" license - meaning the license is designed to work only on 1 computer, which is made possible by our product uniquely identifying your computer hardware for reference (Technical details available here: reviversoft.com/discussions)

Typically, this holds good for most computers users, wherein they choose to buy a license for the computer they wish to use it on.

That being said, our support team can also help advanced users with their not-so-common licensing requirements. Transferring the product from an old computer to a new one is also possible.

Driver Reviver can be as flexible as you want it to be and we're here to help you achieve that.

Do drop us an email if you would like to discuss your requirements with us: supportreviversoft.com

Thom Davies Can you say POOR business ethics? I am an IT Tech so I decided to run this after running HP's version. If I download a trial I expect to see what I am buying. Supposedly I have 3 out of date drivers. Prove it! Well your response is pay us $30, that is not a trial. That is bait and switch and therefore does not say much for your product. OOOPS.

ReviverSoft Hi Thom,

Thanks for your comment here.

While we try to advertise the free download of Driver Reviver as a "Free Scan" wherever possible , most sites tend to promote the product as a "Free Trial/Shareware" with it being a widely accepted classification.

In any case, computer users have the option of running a free driver scan using Driver Reviver to see if they have outdated drivers on their PC and then purchase a license to unlock full functionality and update drivers. As a part of their purchase, they have a 30 day trial period to thoroughly evaluate the product and return it for a full refund if they're unhappy with it for some reason. This practice is also termed as a Product Trial.

At ReviverSoft, our intention remains to help users realize the need for the product and subsequently help them evaluate it further to revive their PCs in the best way possible.

Driver Reviver is limited to a "Free Scan" collectively due to the nature of the product, frequency of usage and the difference in scan results across computer users. The way the trial currently works helps support the continued development and maintenance of the product ensuring excellent levels of performance and reliability.

Feel free to share your thoughts with us by writing to supportreviversoft.com

ReviverSoft

GrandMaster I am looking for a driver finding solution both for my personal computers as well as something to use during my work.

Currently there is DriverEasy and DriverGenius, DriverEasy offers $2 per use on a client computer.

What I want a software like this to have is a lifetime version for personal use and a portable version to use on client computers. It simply isn't viable to pay $30 for a one year license of a program to download drivers, windows 8 operating system cost $40. Maybe I will reformat one computer twice in one year for a stupid reason, I do not think two uses of the program are worth paying $30. Much rather run DriverEasy overnight at 30k capped upload and pay $1 to electric bill.

ReviverSoft Hi Aleksandr,

Thanks for your feedback here.

We work really hard to ensure that Driver Reviver is the best driver updating tool out there and this means continuous research, development and maintenance to ensure that our program offers excellent levels of performance and reliability.

What this also means is that we have to charge a yearly fee to keep in tune with the costs involved. However, in return, we do offer unrestricted driver updates, zero limitations, free product updates & upgrades, unlimited tech support and access to other useful resources!

We also offer great deals on pricing and custom plans for users with advanced or commercial requirements. So please drop us a line (supportreviversoft.com) with your requirements and we will be happy to help you out.

Noggin The Nog Is it possible to transfer DR to another computer, if only on replacing ones computer?

Running DR I got a most unusual result. whereas the 3 or 4 other programs I have tried purported to identify dozens of drivers that needed to be updated, DR idenitified none.

I know that when I last tried another program, and cautiously installed some of the drivers downloaded as needful updates on system created on a spare drive by restoring an image file backup to that drive, they messed up the system. With most of these driver update programs, having idenitified scads of updates one then has the tricky problem of trying to sort out the false positives, requiring research and trialing of the updates offered, greatly derogating from or even more than eliminating any benefit provided by the driver update program.

Could this be because the reviewers measure such programs in terms of the proportion of updates found, without regard to the ability of the program to avoid false positives? Considering how much harm can be done by making a mistake about a driver update, it is surprising that this aspect of such programs is not addressed in reviews.

I have no way of knowing whether DR has achieved the absence of false positives at the expense of missing desirable updates, but it would be nice to think that I have finally found something that will do what is necessary without messing up my system with false positives.

mix624 Hi,

I want lifetime subscription very very cheap OR for free !
Ok ?

uuuh....Oooops, no, I want a product that works instead.
I am glad you dont offer a cheap lifetime subscription because it would be an indication that the product wont really work.

Is there a realistic thing to offer a one time price for a lifetime access ? Or maybe if you take $200 one time fee and then $5 a year ?

I find it weird that some people dont seem understand that making a product like this has ongoing costs, year after year.

How many thousands of subscribers is needed to keep this afloat year after year ?

Michael Paul @Reviversoft Team

I tried a competing software that reported 45 (!) outdated drivers--a claim I found hard to believe. I spotted your product on BDJ and did some research. Your product got good reviews on the web, and one sreputable site rated it #1 among rival products. Good! I tried your free scan and it reported five outdated drivers--obviously no inflation. So I decided to purchase the product as it was discounted as well.

I did the driver update. Ind the middle of the process my screen went black, shut down and went on to an unfamiliar DOS screen and then to the usual DOS screen one gets after an abrupt shutdown. Then it rebooted to the desktop. Driver Reviver was opened with a report: PC health-Excellent; outdated drivers found-zip; drivers updated-zip. This is hard to fathom. Outdated drivers or not, my pc was working fine--this I knew.

DroidLuvr Hello:

I downloaded your trial, and as soon as it was installed, it took me to your website, where my "Web of Trust" icon lit up in all red under all areas, including reliability, trustworthiness, privacy, etc., with all POOR ratings.

Could you please comment about why I should trust my operating system's drivers to a site that has been so poorly rated? [I am an IT Tech and I know such ratings aren't always reliable, but there are many pages of poor comments there, many of which sound quite reliable...]

Thanks...

ReviverSoft Hi DroidLuvr,

Thanks for trying out Driver Reviver.

We believe the mywot scorecard for reviversoft.com is a grey area because the majority of users who leave their rating for a site don't understand the rating system completely or do so for all the wrong reasons. Countless legitimate sites are burdened with same problem.

It is also important that you review the "Comment Statistics" section of the reviversoft.com scorecard to better understand the ratings and feedback we've received till date.

Most of these negative comments claim our product to be rogueware, malware, virus, phishing etc. when in fact our products have a clean safety rating from VirusTotal and industry leading certifications from TRUSTe and Symantec.

Driver Reviver is the only driver updater tool that is part of TRUSTe's Trusted Download Program and is in strict compliance with the best practices for software developers.

Therefore, we recommend making a personal assessment of Driver Reviver to validate the product's credibility.

If you do have specifics concerns regarding the product or our services, our support team will be happy to answer them for you.

Sincerely,

SoftCollector Dear All,

1. I bought Driver Reviver in the middle of January, 2013 after personally trying the 3 or 4 major titles on the market today.
2. Some of the titles did a nice job, others were less successful, and one (Driver Detective) turned out to be a complete scam, so I decided to go for one of the better ones – Driver Reviver.
3. Now, that said, be ware that software of this kind works best for desktop configurations. Laptops usually use vendor-supplied versions of the basic drivers and running a driver updater different from the one supplied by the vendor (Dell, HP, etc) is a risk.
4. I am generally happy with Driver Reviver with the exception of the following:
– on my HP 6930p laptop it has never been able to offer an update for a period of 6 months, so it has been useless;
– the software itself (Driver Reviver) has not received a single update of the base program since I bought it (6 months ago);
– every time I change a hardware component on my machine Driver Reviver refuses to register and I have to contact support and reset the license code. I understand that this is a precaution, but at the same time it strikes me as an overkill.
5. Happily enough their support is very responsive and license resets are usually completed within the day.

Kind Regards,
SC

ReviverSoft Hi SoftCollector,

Thanks again for your comments.

While we are happy to receive general product feedback on BitsDuJour, we recommend that you report specific driver related problems or inaccurate driver results to our tech support team (supportreviversoft.com) for the earliest feedback and assistance. This would be easier for us.

You're right about laptops typically using vendor-supplied drivers and we do actually source driver updates from these vendors/laptop manufacturers. However, these laptop manufacturers (most brands) do not release updates very often, which is why we try to offer generic driver updates for compatible hardware.

Furthermore, we're also running some maintenance updates on our driver database and believe this will improve the scope of the driver results offered.

So please consider sharing the details of the results/drivers you're unhappy with and we will help you out.

Sincerely,
The ReviverSoft Team
