Brian H Hi- I already have "Flip PDF Professional" with lifetime upgrades (but admiringly have not gotten around to spending as much time using it as I would like. Does this bundle offer programs with extra features that "Flip PDF Professional" does not currently already have? Thanks. :-) -Brian

Alice Li @Brian The Bundle programs enable you to convert more formats files to flipbooks, such as Flip Image helps to convert images, Flip PowerPoint convert PPT presentations, Flip Word converts Doc files, Flip Printer can convert all kinds of printable files to flipbooks. But Flip PDF Professional provides more functional features like command line, page edit with adding links, images, video, audio, slideshow, etc..

Brian H Hi Alice- and thanks for getting back to me and addressing my question so well. :-) Follow-up question: since I do already have the "Flip PDF Professional", once I were to use these other programs (offered in this bundle) to convert the various other documents (PowerPoint, Word, image files, and other files via the "Flip Printer"; would I then be able to use the added functionality of my already licensed "Flip PDF Professional" to create more robust flipbooks, or can the converted files from the programs offered in this bundle only be used by the non-professional "Flip PDF" program? Not sure if this is making any sense (since, again, I only have limited program experience at this point), but I am hoping the question makes enough sense to allow you to understand what i would be trying to accomplish, and offer me an answer. Thanks again! :-) -Brian

Alice Li @Brian Yes, you can convert PPT, Word, images to flipbooks with the Bundle products, and then use Flip PDF Professional "Open project from output folder" feature to edit the flipbooks with the page edit features.

John Westbury Before spending much time trying the application, I'd like to enquire whether it would be suitable for my 'intention'.
As an Admin, I add material to our village website (hosted for us by an outside provider!) and want to make the documents "more interesting" by making them 'flip' for viewers.
As an example, I currently have our 'Parish Plan' in PDF format and want to add this - where viewers can turn the pages like they would with the printed copy. Would I just "add the PDF" (after it has been processed by Flip) and then, when visitors to the site click on the link, it would open and permit them to turn the pages? Or could I have the first page displayed 'open' and then visitors simply turn the pages? Equally, in terms of publishing the Parish Council Minutes (often just 2 pages!) made in a WP program (NOT MS Word!) would they equally be 'flip-able'? [I currently show the Minutes as 'images' of the pages - it prevents them being downloaded and 'altered' in any way by visitors!]

D Hill What exactly is the output file format? A Flash file? If so, how is this compatible with iPad Safari? Thank you.

Alice Li @ D Hill There are many output formats for you to choose, such as HTML, ZIP, EXE, App, Mobile Version. The Flip PDF supports HTML5 to make converted book work on iPad, iPhone and Android devices with page flipping effect. Other programs supports mobile version too, and will support HTML5 with more features in future too.

Bob M Can the Flip PDF files be viewed in ebook form, on a Kindle or a PC that has Kindle installed? Or other ebook readers that can read PDFs?

Looks very interesting but I just went to your example link in FF 16.01 and I can see that the PDF book is there but it is covered by a large white area so I can't actually see the book.

Is there any known incompatibility with FF? If not I will test to see inf an add-on might be causing a problem but that seems unlikely. I only run a few very common add-ons.

Alice Li @Bob I'm sorry that the created flipbooks can't be read on Kindle or some other ebook reader at present, you can view the book on PC, Mac, iPad, iPhone and Android devices.

@ Kelly There is no problem to view the book in Firefox 16.0.1 version, please try to check the Flash Player version in your Firefox browser, and update if not the latest version to view again.
