Gren Bingham Hey, when I go to buy, this comes up with a "coupon expired" in the coupon field.

It is very confusing.

I have to click on recalculate and I get the full price with a new coupon code ... then I click recalculate again and it applies the discount.

I just suggested this to three other people ... please fix so I don't have egg on my face!!!!!

@Paul: Although FlowBreeze has a tool that inserts branch structures (similar to org charts), I do not recommend it as an org chart tool - especiall since FlowBreeze is an Excel add-in and Excel already has an excellent org charting tool built in.

Nicholas Hebb @Todd: FlowBreeze is a flowchart automation tool that converts text into flowcharts in two ways: (1) interactively, creating flowchart symbols as you type, or (2) via a wizard, that takes all the text on a spreadsheet and converts it into a flowchart in a few steps.

In that light, it's not a project management tool (e.g., like a Gantt chart), and unless the time lines are in the form of a flowchart, I wouldn't try to sell you on it as such.

Todd Greene Nick- Thank you very much for your assistance and your honesty. I create more timelines vs. flow charts. Regardless, the minimal investment to save some time creating a flowchart seems worth it to me.

Where are those located?
I found an empty Templates folder, and the ability to save and load my own templates, but what about the included ones?

Nicholas Hebb @Eddie: FlowBreeze 3 was just released a few days ago and the web copy and video still need to be updated. The newest version has a template generator that makes it easy to spit out a customize template in just a few minutes.

Instead of being distributed with the trial, the old pre-made templates will be made available for download separately. If you are interested, here is the link:

VLM Nicholas, the Plimus order form lists the product as "FlowBreeze Flowchart Software Standard". Is there a Super, Enhanced, Professional, or some other one-step-up version of this product? Or is this just a Plimus-ism?

Nicholas Hebb @VLM: It's a legacy name from version 2. There used to be a Basic edition and a Pro edition was planned, but checking the edition at startup caused problems - if an add-in takes too long to load, Excel may disable the add-in. Starting with FlowBreeze 3.0, there will be only one edition. The Basic edition has been discontinued, and the planned Pro edition features will be rolled out in upcoming minor version releases. (Minor version updates are free,)

VLM Thanks Nicholas. But now this brings up another question ... are we buying version 2 or version 3 here? And if 2, will we have to pay to upgrade to 3? I just sent off funds for this promotion (money order), but I have no urgent need for this product, I will use it more downstream. So I could easily have waited a bit, if you see what I mean. Thanks for offering a choice of merchant system to buy FlowBreeze thru.

However, sadly neither PLiMUS nor PayPal offer the user - ''at the time of purchase'', the option to purchase a product either:
1. as a GIFT for somebody else,
OR,
2. to license in a name that's different to the name on the credit card, for example your credit card is in your married name but all of your software is licensed in your Maiden/birth name.

Which means, after purchase, the user/buyer has to contact the Vendor and hope that the vendor will agree to change the details for you: some will but many (especially single person enterprises) won't.

Sure PayPal is a quick purchasing system and may also see a greater return of funds to the vendor but it lacks flexibility, and PLiMUS cant even be bothered to ask for the name of the credit card which is a simple anti-fraud step.

IF separate billing and delivery addresses AND the name on the credit card was required AT The TiME OF PuRCHASE, then I (and many others(?)) would happily buy goods sold thru these 2 merchant providers, but until they do Avangate, RegNow etc, will be the preferred companies to buy thru.

I'm sorry that you missed out on the promotion because of this. I can't speak for other vendors, but I'm willing to change the name of the licensee. It actually happens quite often when software resellers and corporate buyers purchase the software but want the license changed to be in the end user's name.
