How easy and how fast is it to switch between the FrontFace and the Window-screen? Is it possible to define a hotkey doing this?

Happy to hear all upgrades are free and that v2 is about to appear soon? Do the answers to the questions above also apply to v2?

We have an API ready here. In case you are interested, please contact us and we can send you some details. It is based on .NET4 so if you are familiar with C# or VB.NET, it should be fairly easy for you...

Switching to Windows in FrontFace takes about 1 second. But actually you will not have to that very often because also normal Windows applications (like e.g. Word) run WITHIN then FrontFace UI. FrontFace is not only a launcher with custom apps and widgets - it is a true GUI platform that is fully compatible with any existing Windows application.

Regarding v2: We will also offer a separate product called "FrontFace SELECT" which is for business customers that want to use a customized version in vertical scenarios, e.g. as kiosk terminal, for medical or logistics applications or as an interface for PCs in meeting rooms, etc. You can use FrontFace SELECT to build your own custom user interface that is 100% tailored to your individual use case. The regular FrontFace 2 which is included in this deal also offers a lot of customization options but is targeted at consumers that use the software on their PCs, netbooks, tablets or All-in-One computers. Duane Dalian I am interested in using your product in a desktop environment for application launch and file access. I also like the widgets as I have grown accustomed to them on the android platform. Can you please tell me how well the software works with multiple monitors? I tried to read some of the comments in the forum but I am limited to English only.

Joachim Schwieren Hi Duane, both v1 and v2 can be used on multi screen systems but there is no explicit support for this feature. So you will only be able to make "use" of multiple monitors if you have applications like PowerPoint or a video player that can show content on the other screen. The FrontFace UI will always be shown on the primary screen. In v2 we might add further support for multi screen systems in the future.
