George Butel I read the comments here and noticed that, although overwhelmingly negative, they were quite old, and I figured that the developer would be bound to have improved the program by now. I'd just done that exact thing--manually pick out a facial profile using Photoshop Elements--the other day and thought I'd give this program a shot. I had the foresight to install it with Revo tracing it, so it could be uninstalled quickly and completely, which is what I did after less than five minutes.
I tried only one image, that of a person standing in front of an auto. I started out on the lower arm, then got to the elbow and started going up. Suddenly it didn't want to follow the arm on up to the shoulder--it had its own ideas, even though the skin color was virtually identical and was distinct from the background. It just started going off into nowhere, so I zapped it. Thanks, but no thanks. (I'm using Win8.1 Pro.)

Chris I purchased this on 8/11/2012 and there have been no updates since then. The program is still version 1.1. The other program recommended on this page is Instantmask Pro, which I have also purchased. It wasn't updated in a very long time as well because they created Instantmask Ultimate. It was finally updated to 3.0 last year or early this year I believe. It seems to me that this developer has abandoned both software's for their Instantmask Ultimate.
