I see that the fine print says:

"After you purchase MailWasher Pro 7 + MailWasher Mobile it may be used for 12 months."

Does this mean it stops functioning after 12 months?

I used to purchase MailWasher Pro, but gave up when this crazy licensing model was introduced.

Nick Bolton @ Julian - It's a subscription, so the 'Wash' button stops working, then you have to renew ($24.95) to get it working again. For your subscription you get updates, support, mobile version, license to use on 3 computers and unlimited mobile devices, spam blocking services and backup to the cloud.

Tom I am a bit confused regarding the version history. This is for Pro 7 and right above the conversation under Frequently bought together there is reference to Pro 2012 - what is the difference?

Scott Van Leeuwen I have the very first edition of Mail Washer with the 100 or so character string to register your software for life. Back then you only paid $24.95 per year if you wanted to use Firetrust, which was an extram sam filter. That is trhe way I wish it stayed, but with cosmetic enhancements. With so many software companies now charging subscription fee's per year, it costs a damn fortune.

As a current paid up subscriber of MailWasher Pro 7, there is no point in me p0artcipating in this promotion.

How about $24.95 per year or $50 for a lifetime license? That I would buy.

Justin Cram I use gmail and need this software to funnel all my email with all spam cleaned back into my gmail email, will this software go in and clean out my multi users accounts being forwarded to my main gmail, can it tell the difference? in other words i have my private domain emails coming into my 30GB gmail account and my yahoo, my hotmail etc. so will those address specifically to them be preserved but still filtered from the spam they carry? also will it clean my current email of 100K of un-read due to overly spammed emails, will it do history and basically clean it up?

Nick Bolton @ Justin - Good questions. Mailwasher is like an email checker, so Mailwasher will basically pull those emails down (while they still remain in GMail) so you can go through them. 100,000 emails is a lot, so I'd download 10,000 at a time and work on those. When I say work on those, Mailwasher will pick up quite a few as spam, but I'm guessing a lot are really old, so one of the quickest ways to make Mailwasher work for you is to teach Mailwasher what is spam and what is good email. So, use the Classify column to give spam and good email the thumbs up or down, so this for about 50 emails and press the 'wash' button. Mailwasher will learn from those and the next time you Check Mail for more, most of them should be correctly classified. Go through them again to make sure they're all correct. Pretty soon it will be very accurate and you can let it do it automatically on 10,000 or so at a time. You might want to add some common good emails to the friendslist as well.
