Petr Ok, will try this out. The program I have been using is Snagit. It can do batch processing but there are too many keystrokes and mouse-clicks involved. With Snagit, I have to manually create a JPG with the date/time I want to use for the watermark.

Ideally, I can elect to use the original time the photo was taken, or set a time of my choice.

Petr Alex, Thank you. That's good. I will buy this when BitsDuJour makes it available.

Further enhancements could be as follows:
a. The "Text" tab has a button to 'add variables' from a menu.
The 'Rename' tab should make it easy to add variables in the same way. Suggest you add a button to enable menu driven insertion of variables for:

[N] -The original filename

[E] -File extension

[W] -The width ofthe image in pixels

[H] -Image height in pixels

[T] -Current time

[D] -Current Date

Of course I can stop Norton from blocking it, but I thought you'd like to know about that.

Ash Goyal A manual or online help would be nice to understand various functions e.g. what are those filters (Bell, Hermite) and what do they do?

While Path, name, size, type are good, please allow one to add/display extra columns eg dimensions etc similar to Windows file explorer.

Pl add a copyright (c) symbol to "Add variables" list for those of us wanting to protect our pics or better yet allow us to enter any symbol or logo.

It's difficult to describe filter with words,but you can try different filters and compare them by eyes :)

Main filters are:
Bilinear filter gives you a smooth pictures
Lanczos filter provides sharp pictures, it is best for most cases

Extra columns and symbols will be in next version.
