HJ B As I understand it, this program permits the construction of applications that can be triggered by the CD/DVD auto-play function of Windows.

1. Will it also autoplay if installed on a USB plug drive?

2. Can it simply be used as a stand-alone, interactive application that runs off a hard drive?

3. Can it run as an application imbedded in a website?

4. Can it be used to create a tutorial?

5. If I want someone to read a dozen documents in a certain sequence, can I have a series of buttons, one for each document - and different document types - pdf - word - excel - ppt - html, and will the focus return to the application window when the end point in the document is reached OR can it be made to jump from one document directly to the next when the end point of the first document is reached?

6. I see it has a number of templates. Is there a discription somewhere of what each template does and how it is best setup?

regarding your first question, if your operating system was updated via Windows Update after February 2011, then you won't be able to use AutoPlay on a USB drive, unless you manually turn the feature back on, for example with the MS Fix It 50475 (found in KB 967715). Microsoft made this change in an important security update, and disabled AutoPlay for all devices other than CD/DVD drives. So the correct answer here is "no, this product is not expected to run from a USB device, unless you reverted the changes done to your computer done by Microsoft, or your OS is not fully updated."
