Let’s talk about image viewers. You may be living with one now that you believe suits your needs perfectly, but today’s discount software promotion delivers the goods in a completely revolutionary way. It’s called PicTwiddle!

PicTwiddle remembers how you like to view an image, and applies the same changes every time you open a file, in a nondestructive manner. With PicTwiddle, you don’t have to save a laundry list of edits to preserve the way you like to view an image, plus the original photo is always available to you. Changes to the view are accomplished using simple clicks and drags, so a new zoom level or rotation is just a gesture away at all times.

If you’re one of those lucky ones that has a huge monitor, you’ll love the fact that PicTwiddle supports full-screen, with a convenient auto-hiding toolbar that only appears when you need it. The entire PicTwiddle program is user-friendly and easy on your system, with no constant backups, drive scans, or other unnecessary processes that bog down your computer!

Michael R. After having done the picture-specific adaptions, is it possible to export selected files just the way they are dislayed with PicTwiddle now?
So it would be possible e.g. to create a photoshow, select the pictures to be shown and the way they are shown and copy these files inside a directory and afterwards burn it to a CD (with another program) and have not altered the original pictures.

Paul Johnson @ Michael R. At the moment you would have to 'Save As' for each image individually. I will be adding the ability to copy/move selected images, and will include the option of whether to apply the view settings.

However, this will only give you a 'folder of images', not a sequenced/playable slideshow. I may add something like that later, depending on user feedback, but not for some time.

Michael R. Paul, thanks for the answer and the upcoming feature.

Even if a slideshow might be nice, I personally I don't think a implementing this is necessary: A lot of programs already do this and if I have a directory with all the pictures in it the way I want them to be shown, I can use such a program too.

Perhaps implementing profiles, which would allow single pictures to be shown in different ways or tags, which would allow to define which pictures are shown and which are not, would make more sense...

Paul Johnson Michael R. - Well, I will certainly be adding more slideshow options than there are at the moment - to give more choices in displaying the images within PicTwiddle, as users have chosen to view them, without them having to be resaved. Some sort of tagging is something I may add later.

Greg Brown Clever little program that seems to work as advertised.

One thing that seems like it might be handy is a shortcut key to enter the thumbnail viewer : The letter T might be a good one :-) The more I don't have to use a mouse, the happier I am.

In any case, gonna be grabbing this....

Paul Johnson Thanks Greg, glad you like it. You should find the down arrow key takes you to the thumbnails. All the keyboard shortcuts should be visible on the menus.
