Produce PDFs From Any Application

Now that we're over a decade into the new century, isn't it time you stopped printing documents in Word format? After all, just a quick glance around the Internet reveals that the dominant format for documents of all shapes and sizes is Adobe's PDF! And if you've been avoiding switching to the PDF format because you think it'll be complicated, think again - for today is the day that you become aware of Print2PDF - today's discount software promotion!

Print2PDF lets you create PDF files from any application that has a print function. With Print2PDF, you'll be able to take full advantage of a format that lets you print on paper sizes up to 200 inches, in either landscape or portrait mode, and in dizzying resolutions up to 2400 DPI. Along the way, you'll get power and flexibility that no other document format offers, including digital signatures to verify identity, encryption, and more. You can even designate watch folders and email accounts for easy and quick automated conversions.

Best of all, Print2PDF helps you to create single PDF files from multiple sources! Say you have an email message, a drawing in AutoCAD, and a Microsoft Word document, and they all have to be assembled into a single package for delivery to someone several pay grades above you. With Print2PDF, you'll be able to merge print output from all of these files with a single click! Conversely, Print2PDF also gives you the power to delete pages from a PDF or divide one PDF document into several smaller ones.

Finally, network admins will love the ability to deploy Print2PDF to all users just by installing the software on the server - there's fully support for Windows Terminal Services and Citrix MetaFrame. No local workstation installation needed, and your users will love the added functionality!

JohnW2 Tempted to say "You're joking!" here.
I'd imagine most BDJ users are home-based (single) users - and offering this -which requires paying $150 (even if it allows for 5 users) seems to be quite counter-intuitive.
I quite like 'the idea' of the program - but certainly not at this price!! Sorry.

Danny No free lifitime updates, even with discount is this Print2PDF 9.5 software too expensive for a private!!!
Sep 23 2012 at 6:21am
John Booth While I am a devoted follower of BDJ and am grateful to all the vendors who bring their software here for a discount, I feel I must speak up about this offer. The ability to print to PDF has been around for many years. While this Print2PDF software might have some special feature that justifies it for some business requirements (I don't know what that might be), I have used a free alternative for many years with wonderful results. PDFCreator has been around for a long time and is still being updated and improved. You may get it at http://www.pdfforge.org. It's free and it works great. I don't like dumping on a BDJ contributor, but for those who would like this ability and cannot afford or justify $150 (much less $300), I offer this alternative. Apologies to BinaryNow as I have no issues with them other than their pricing.

BinaryNow Print2PDF is much more than just PDF printer. It is complete solution for PDF conversion. It allows batch conversion, PDF manipulation, watch folder, watch pop3, web service, and also includes web application for conversion though web browser. This can be fully automated as service and integrated with any third part software. This software was designed with having business user in the mind. There are many cheaper and less complete alternatives on the marker which may serve a limited needs of home user.

Vivaldi I'm impressed by BinaryNow's licensing policy. It should be a model for all vendors. It puts the software control into the hands of the buyer. Well done!
I realized as I was reading that Print2PDF, as it stands, is intended for business use. As a single user (with more than one computer) I just can't justify the cost. Would BinaryNow consider a single-user version for the future?
Sep 23 2012 at 8:19am
BinaryNow Not on a Print2PDF, but we will have a new product called "PDF Impress" which is due next month. PDF Impress will not provide all server based conversion service like Print2PDF, but will be more affordable( under $100). Please send us email to sales@binarynow.com and we will try to match you with a right price and right product.

BinaryNow #JohnW, #Danny and others... Print2PDF 9.5 ( 5 users) is targeted to small business. Could you tell us what would be acceptable price for home user? ($100 , $50, $10, free?). It can help us with next giveaway for PDF Impress.
BinaryNow, Inc. Vendor - Sep 23 2012 at 8:50am
Danny @BinaryNow : $50 à $70 and preferably including with liftime free updates.
Sep 23 2012 at 8:57am

Nick Kobe I currently use PDF reDirect Pro V2 and I'm interested in purchasing Print2PDF 9.5. However, like those who posted concerns about the pricing I'd like to purchase a version that is more appropriate to a single user. In my case I own more than the average number of PCs (1 desktop, 3 tablets, and 3 laptops) which vary in screen size, etc. However, I do use them all so I generally do not buy software that is not licensed on a "user" basis. I've used PDF reDirect Pro for that reason and its pricing at at $19.99 is very reasonable. It does, as best I can tell everything that your offering does, so even $50 to $70 for a license on 5 PCs seems expensive. Can you tell me what the differences are between PDF reDirect Pro v2 and Print2PDF are? Note: I do not work nor am I in any way directly or indirectly affiliated with the developer or sale of PDF reDirect.
Sep 23 2012 at 12:06pm
JohnW2 You asked what would be an acceptable price - I think that for a single non-commercial user $35-$50 would be quite appropriate. I tend to shy away from those programs which cost more than that, living on a fixed income (pension) as I do!
I shall look forward to seeing what PDFImpress offers, when it becomes available.

BinaryNow We did not do detail comparison between PDF reDirect Pro V2 vs Print2PDF 9.5. Both products are available for download, so anyone interested in can try it himself. Some differences are obvious in speed, performance and user friendliness between version 2.0 and version 9.5. Print2PDF has been here since 2000, it has implemented into user interface a lot of user feedback by now, so the user interface is much more mature. Some feature which we did not find presented on the vendor site are: PDF/A and PDF/X support, Web service, web application, watch folder, watch PDF, user profiles with custom MSI client distribution, PAdES BES signature support, digital signature, digital signature appearance, timestamp and few more. Other words Print2PDF can provide you much more than PDF reDirect Pro v2 and that is why it also cost more. Our recommendation is download trial from the link from second posting and form the own opinion after you are familiar with our product. Trial is free and is fully functional for 30 days.
BinaryNow, Inc. Vendor - Sep 23 2012 at 12:27pm
BinaryNow John, thank you for your feedback. We believe that PDF Impress would be a better way for you to go than Print2PDF regardless the cost. We will do our best to feature it on BitsDuJour later this year.

DroidLuvr What, if anything, can this program do that Adobe Acrobat X cannot do?
Sep 23 2012 at 4:42pm
BinaryNow Well, these are apples and oranges. Adobe Acrobat is a PDF editor, Print2PDF is PDF convertor which will work with your famous editor and it has an additional support for groups and allows automating the conversion processes. Other words, Print2PDF is easier to use, it can create PDFs faster, it can do it in volume and can be easily integrated with third party software or business process. Print2PDF allows PDF manipulation (e.g extracting, deleting, splitting, merging, etc.), but it does not allow content editing—it is not editor like Adobe Acrobat is. Typical setup is organization is that IT department has few licenses of Adobe Acrobat, and each employee has some kind of virtual PDF printer (like Print2PDF printer) or access to some PDF conversion service (e.g. Print2PDF web application/service). It would be very expensive and unproductive to train everyone in organization for Adobe Acrobat. Printing or uploading files to a folder does not require any training.
BinaryNow, Inc. Vendor - Sep 23 2012 at 5:01pm
BinaryNow Maybe I will try to explain it little bit differently, Print2PDF is not just a PDF printer and it is not a PDF editor. It is software which empowers the user (usually a group of users) in the process of PDF creation. User can make a decision how he wants to create PDF files. It can use PDF printer and print from any application, or user watch folder, or use watch email/pop3, or use web application, or integrate web service or integrate Print2PDF directly into their application. All these is available in one product and user is making decision which way is best fit and of course in time he can freely switch from one method to another. Print2PDF also provide extensive support for digital signing, time stamping and digital id appearance, PAdES BES signature format, PDF/A, PDF/X, user profiles and include also application for PDF manipulation.

Garrett Goyette This is obviously an Industrial PDF program. I am wondering if it can select a partial part of a webpage and just pdf that snippet
Sep 23 2012 at 7:46pm
BinaryNow It depends on the html browser. It it can print just the selection of the page ( many of them can) then Print2PDF will convert selection into PDF.
