How many passwords do you have? Probably way too many, given the number of banking, shopping, and credit card sites you visit on a regular basis. You could make them all the same password, but that would be inviting disaster if your security were ever compromised. Short of writing them all down (also a disaster waiting to happen), what can you do to keep track of them all? For starters, you can get yourself a copy of today's discount software promotion, Regex Password Vault!

Regex Password Vault is an outstanding password manager and form filler that remembers all of your usernames and passwords for you. With Regex Password Vault, you never have to spend another minute filling out long web forms or login screens - just one click or keystroke automatically fills in all of the correct information, speeding you on your way. All login information is stored locally in an encrypted file, so all you need to remember is a single password to unlock it. Best of all, the file stays locked when not in use.

And if you're the type of person who always finds it difficult to pick strong passwords (opting instead to go for the obvious ones), you'll be happy to know that Regex Password Vault can create passwords for you, using a cryptographic random password generator. Passwords so strong, your brain wouldn't even know how to process them if they weren't already stored in Regex Password Vault!

John Hood Constantin -- "I want" button is not on the Regex Promotion Page. Jus a Deal is Coming Soon! box. Ran CC and cleaned my machine cookies about an hour ago so it may not be picking it up. I am looking at:

http://www.bitsdujour.com...-discounts --- No I want....

Not a big deal. I follow your site every morning when I boot up anyway.

Constantin Florea @John Hood, I checked and it seems you are already following this vendor. That is the reason you do not see the I Want This button. If the I Want This button would be visible then it means you are not following the vendor. Following a vendor means that whenever a promotion from that vendor is live, you will be notified by email.

_*_ I purchased in 2014 as I recall.

Is my license key still valid for the current version?

I installed the latest release but it does not show my name but does state, "This software is licensed to you under the terms of the Regex Software EULA".

When was the software last updated?

It would be nice to see answers here, but not unsure anything will occur until after the sale has past.

If you purchased in 2014, then yes your key is still valid, since it is the same major version.

J Hello Shawn,

Your software has an unusual name. Regex typically means 'Regular Expression'.

I'm just curious why you named it with 'Regex'? Does your software implement Regular Expressions in some way?

Also, how does your software compare with the free, open source, light-weight, very popular and easy-to-use password manager, 'KeePass'?

Thank you.

Regex Software is our company name. In this case it has nothing to do with regular expressions. I can understand your thinking that though!

Regex Password Vault is far more powerful than Keepass in terms of features. The password and identity AutoComplete features alone are worth the purchase price, in my humble opinion. :) I would definitely recommend downloading the trial and giving it a try!

John User Does it work with Microsoft Edge? Thank you.

Shawn O'Hern @ John User

Currently only Keystroke mode works with Microsoft Edge. The more advanced Form Filler mode does not work because Edge currently does not support extensions. The software has no way to communicate with the browser.

Once Edge adds extension support (and from what I understand, it is coming), then we will add support for that browser.

For the time being, my recommendation is to use IE, which is still present in Windows 10.

J Hello Shawn,

Thank you for your reply!

I've been a KeePass user for years, but I will definitely give RPV a try!

Thanks again.
