Roderick Nicolson This is a deal I'd recommend.
I've had version 6 for some years on my USB stick - never had a problem with it.
I Have loads of website passwords on mine (100s) and have no idea what they are. I use RoboForm2Go to make complicated passwords that are very unlikely to be cracked. I can do this because I don't need to remember them. I only need to know the one that opens RoboForm2Go.
I can use it anywhere, on any computer, because it loads up once the USB is plugged in. Never had a problem with that either. Possibly the most useful program I have.
I'm hoping this one will sync with the non-portable RoboForm I have on my personal computer. That way I can always be sure my passwords are up to date.
Best thing since sliced bread.
I'm certainly going to grab an updated version, at this price.

Siber Systems Hi @Roderick,

Thank you so much for the great recommendations! This is definitely a great deal to purchase an upgrade for your V6 RF2Go license. We hope you like it!

You can only sync RoboForm/RoboForm2Go via our RoboForm Everywhere license though. For more information on our licenses, please check out this page on our website called "Which License is Best for Me?"

Thanks,

Yfor I bought a license of RF2Go Pro and one for RF Exerywhere: Did I just buy the same thing twice?
Also, it's quite confusing that the installer will warn you not to proceed with the installation on a U3 stick and refers you to a Roboform page which tells you to install it anyway because there's no more support specific to the U3 format.
Finally, if anyone's interested, RoboForm Desktop 7 is available for 9.95 on the checkout page (that's $5 less than the BDJ offer from a few weeks back).
Sep 12 2012 at 1:18am
Roderick Nicolson That's for a years subscription. It's not the same as having the full RoboForm Everywhere product. You will have to pay again, after a year's up.

As for RF2Go Pro and RF Everywhere - they are not the same.
RF Everywhere is for a desktop PC or for a laptop - it needs to be installed.
RF2Go is for a USB stick. It's portable and you can take it with you and use it from your USB stick on any PC computer.
It works great and means you never have to worry about carrying passwords or information around with you - except through RF2Go which has 5 different and powerful password encryptions to choose from. Even if you do lose your USB stick I think you can feel sure RF2Go is not going to be opened.
It can do it all. I've never had a problem with it intergrating with the maine browsers on any other computer. Though I guess it might if the browser is of a different type. You can still run it from the system tray however if that's the case. So you wouldn't be stuck.
Sep 12 2012 at 3:25am
Siber Systems @Yfor,

When you purchase RF Everywhere, RF2GO is included. Every license is included in RoboForm Everywhere. Please read more about our licenses here: http://www.roboform.com/h...se_options. RF Everywhere is a yearly subscription and it lets you have access to RF on any computer, USB, mobile device, tablet, etc.- all with this one license.

As far as U3 support, please read more information here, http://www.roboform.com/platforms/usb/u3. U3 support has been discontinued.

Also, please everyone note that RF Desktop is NOT $9.95, it is $29.95. When you purchased RF2GO, you are probably seeing $9.95 for Desktop because you receive your second license for only $9.95. Thanks.

Siber Systems @Roderick,

Thank you for helping @Yfor, but please note that RF Everywhere includes every RoboForm license that we have all rolled into one yearly subscription. So RF Everywhere can even be used on a USB drive.

Please read more information about our licenses here:

Yes, you are correct. I have notified Bits du Jour and they will be updating it shortly. It is licensed per USB drive. Sorry about that! Thanks for letting us know.

Derek Stubbs I have just purchased this product as it states that it is for PC & Mac.
I only use Mac and the download says it is for PC so it will not open for me,am I doing something wrong?
Sep 12 2012 at 10:20am
Siber Systems Hi @Derek,

RF2Go is not available on Mac, I see in the left hand corner it says that it is. I apologize about this. RoboForm will work on your Mac though without a USB drive. Please send me a support ticket at http://www.roboform.com/support and direct it to Michelle. We will be able to work something out for your Mac. Thank you!

Amit Hello,

I have some queries -

1) Do all your products - Roboform everywhere, roboform2go and robofrom desktop, work with all portable browsers aswell. I really make quite use of portable firefox, maxthon etc.
So will all 3 above work with portable browsers as well ?

Or if only some of them will work, then please state which.

+

2) Does the 30day RETURN policy valid for all your additional products too - that are listed in the ordering page when I click above Buy now ? - ie. desktop 7 and GoodSync2Go ?

I may just buy many if so, because I dont have time to try out all of them right now and would like to see them later, within 30 days.

3) Do any of your products work with maxthon 2 or say with maxthon1 as well - And if not atleast maxthon is the best IE shell, and I think it needs to be considered. Especially maxthon2.

Siber Systems Hi @Amit,

1) RF2Go will work with portable Firefox. If you have a request for portable browser compatibility please let me know.

2) The 30 day license refund policy is for all of our products. If you want to try them all, just buy RF Everywhere.

3) Yes they do, please check out our compatibility section here: http://www.roboform.com/p...sers/other

Thanks,

Steven Avery Hi,

Danny - Top Ten Reviews is not considered reliable, since their operation is based on trying to make commissions on sales. Free software and services are ignored. As an example, LastPass is listed as at a minimum of $12 per year, but that is only the Premium service, many use the free service.

Siber - does this Roboform have a complete export facility of all the password data, including the full url ?

bvssunnydale Can this work for password protected local files? Thanks.
Sep 13 2012 at 10:09am
Siber Systems Hi @Steven,

As discussed at length on the last thread, we do have an Export function, but it currently exports everything as Bookmarks.

What users typically use to export is our Print List function. Again, as mentioned in the previous thread, the Print List function will only export the main URL. This is because users requested this. When users printed the whole URL, all the formatting issues made the print difficult to manage and wasted a lot of paper.

I feel like I've adequately answered your question multiple times. I would appreciate it if you could contact us directly if you have any additional questions.

Thank you,
Michelle

Siber Systems Hi @bvssunnydale,

Can you please provide more information to what you are asking?

Michelle
Siber Systems Inc. Vendor - Sep 13 2012 at 11:10am
wraith 808 Print List isn't really an export function, as exports usually take the form of something that is readily able to be imported - either into your application or another. This is especially important in the case of password applications so you can have control of your data. Is there any way to export your data to pure text format (csv, tab-separated, etc)?
Sep 13 2012 at 12:27pm
Siber Systems Hi @wraith 808,

Go to RoboFormOptionsUser Data Expor, to check out our export options. CSV is not one, but HTML is.

Thanks!

Siber Systems For some odd reason that did not come out clear. The steps are RoboForm Toolbar, Options, User Data, Export. Sorry about that!

Michelle
Siber Systems Inc. Vendor - Sep 13 2012 at 12:54pm
wraith 808 But the HTML export cuts off the URLs, which makes it less than useful. Is there any way to export the whole of the data for backup and such? I do the same in the application I currently use, but its not portable which was my reason for looking at this... but having my attention turned towards the export I realized this shortcoming which is a dealbreaker for me. The print isn't really an export, and the export mangles some of the data.

Siber Systems Hi @Res Hum,

Siber Systems Hi @wraith 808,

You can back up your data by going to RoboForm, Options, User Data, and clicking on "Backup." Then, you will be able to choose how you would like to back up your RoboForm data.

You can try it for 30 days and if it does not fit your password management needs, we can refund your money. We have a 30 day money back guarantee for all of our customers. Also, we always have a 30 day free trial as well, if you want to try it before you buy it, however this deal will end at the end of the day today and it is 50% off.

Thanks!

Thank you,

Mark R Michelle,

Huge fan of RF2G here!

I already have V6 installed on a USB drive. I just bought V7 here.

What is the process for upgrading the version to V7 on the same drive, without losing my passwords?

Thanks!
