  I've been on the watch for a screensaver program. I have questions about this one:
  1) I don't care for slideshow screensavers. What I do like is pics with moving water, rain, etc. - lightening would be really cool. Can Screensaver Factory produce these, with a little direction from me, or is it geared to slideshows with transition effects only?
  2) How does Screensaver work with dual monitor systems, or does it?
  3) How CPU hungry is it?

  1) No screensaver software will let you produce this type of screensaver media directly from pictures, it is impossible. You can, however, achieve this by creating video (using video editing software) or by creating Flash animation that shows whatever artistic scene you want. You can create screensavers from video files and flash files.
  
  2) Picture screensavers are supported on multi-monitor systems (up to 5 monitors). Video and flash screensavers will run on any system but only the primary monitor will display screensaver.
  
  3) You can test it. We have done everything to optimize CPU and memory usage for years. Screensavers created with Screensaver Factory are used by thousands of users many of whom have older PCs. Also performance is dependent on your screensaver, if you use maximum effects on huge images, it will consume more CPU time than with smaller images and simpler effects.

  Thank you for answering my questions so thoroughly. In my first question - about using pictures - I was thinking of programs like ArtStudio and Nature Illusion Studio that were offered here previously. As you can tell, I know nothing about video and flash files. Sadly, until today, nothing I've read about the different screensaver programs I've considered has told me that I wouldn't be able to use video and flash screensavers on a dual monitor system. Since my same old boring Starfield and other built-in Windows offerings run on both monitors - and they move - I just thought anything would work. Well, I'm glad to have learned something but not happy that I've wasted so much time.

  (1) Is it possible to buy optional your enterprise-version too?
  
  (2) Is it possible instead of displaying fixed pictures/videos, to display pictures/videos being stored on the web (and are about to change from time to time)?

  1) Promotion for Enterprise version was this summer on this website. This promotion is for Professional version only and only on this website. You can buy this Professional version and then upgrade to Enterprise version, you will still save a lot.
  
  2) Auto-updates feature is available in Enterprise version. You can check documentation for details on how it works. Basically you set up an XML data file and images and screensaver connects to your website and updates its contents.
