Please note folks, today we're advertising an enormous discount on the entire SEO PowerSuite Professional toolset. However, if that's a bit much for your needs, you can also get impressive discounts on each of the individual titles included in the PowerSuite (Link Assistant, SEO Spyglass, Rank Tracker, and Website Auditor). Click the "Buy Now" button for more details.

Sometimes it can feel as if your website, as good as it is, is just a grain of sand on a beach of millions of other sites. You've got the products, services, and content, so how do you go about raising awareness of your Internet presence? How do you make sure that you show up at the top of the list of hits when people use their search engines? The only surefire way is to implement effective SEO (Search Engine Optimization) strategies, and the best way to do this is to use SEO PowerSuite Professional!

SEO PowerSuite Professional is a set of four powerful tools -- each with its own unique and special talents. When combined, they form an arsenal of SEO optimization that drives increased traffic to your website and boosts your search engine ranking far past that of your competitors! Sound good? Let's take a look:

First, there's Rank Tracker! The core of any SEO strategy has to be focused on the keywords that people use to find your site, and Rank Tracker is the ultimate tool to help you research the best keywords to use. In fact, using Rank Tracker, you'll be able to know which keywords are the most popular for your industry, but you'll also discover which keywords are used the least by your competition. Use those magic words as part of your SEO strategy, and watch that trickle of traffic transform into a flood!

Next up is WebSite Auditor! Because keyword selection and density aren't the only things that you need to float your SEO boat, WebSite Auditor will analyze your website's structure and content, generating XML sitemaps to make it easier for search engines to index your content and providing export and optimization reports. Just follow the handy recommendations made by WebSite Auditor and you'll be much better positioned to remain at the top of the search rankings.

Part of the formula that determines how highly your website ranks in search engine results is the number of sites linking to yours, and you absolutely need to know where your competitors stand in this regard. SEO SpyGlass lets you discover over 100,000 competitor backlinks, empowering you to formulate an informed, intelligent link-building strategy. Just plug in any domain name and instantly see which sites link to it! And, as you've come to expect from SEO PowerSuite Professional, you can always export data and produce reports to study with your team.

SEO SpyGlass uses search engines indexes as well as its own multi-billion database of links. SEO SpyGlass is now the cheapest and the most backlink-rich link checker on the market!

Lastly, there's LinkAssistant! Just as your competitors clamor to have as many sites link to them as possible, so too should your own SEO strategy focus on building link relationships with influential sites. LinkAssistant helps you with all link management tasks, including building link partnerships with other sites and assembling directories of links.

So there you have it. With SEO PowerSuite Professional, all of your SEO bases are covered! Optimize your site with the best keywords, content, and structure, and strengthen your rank by establishing link relationships with influential sites. All of this while keeping a close eye on what your competitors are doing, then outperforming their best efforts!

Dunking A Google search for "SEO toolset" doesn't list the PowerSuite (or LinkAssistan) website until page three. Shouldn't theirs be a the top of page one results for the kind of money they charge? Or perhaps they aren't using their own product...

I apologize for the inconvenience, it's not the way it should be. There was no intent to compromise or spam your email, it's just the wrong system settings we'll be fixing asap.

Jon Spain If support is for 6 months, what happens after that, please? for a product with free lifetime upgrades to future versions for the lifetime of the product, something doesn't seem quite right.

Jul 8 2014 at 12:39am Copy Link
Link-Assistant.Com @Jon Spain - Hi Jon, the license covers 6 months of search algo updates. When the period expires, search algo updates are provided on a paid basis, starting at $3.05/mo for separate products (Rank Tracker, SEO SpyGlass, WebSite Auditor and LinkAssistant) and 8.33/mo for SEO PowerSuite Pro.

Search algo updates ensure that the software can get actual data from search engines at all times. That is, the software will still work without search algo updates, but the data that comes from search engines may be incorrect or unavailable.

Indeed, we do provide free upgrades for future versions, yet we charge quite a moderate fee for search algo updates. Tracking changes in search engines requires quite a few man-hours that's why we charge this additional fee.
Link-Assistant.Com - Jul 8 2014 at 1:58am Copy Link
Jon Spain Thank you but I fear that the license conditions are unfairly confusing. To state that you offer free lifetime upgrades for a product which requires payments every 6 months in order for it to remain fully effective is contradictory. Have I missed something?

Jul 8 2014 at 2:06am Copy Link
Thomas Reimann "If support is for 6 months, what happens after that, please?" The product will stop working 1 second after your 6 months subscription expires, unless you pay a monthly fee.
Jul 8 2014 at 2:08am Copy Link
Jon Spain ... which makes the free lifetime upgrades claim utterly misleading, which is not what I expect from a vendor allowed into BdJ.

Jul 8 2014 at 2:22am Copy Link
Link-Assistant.Com @Jon Spain: Sorry it's confusing, but that's what we differentiate in our pricing model. We offer feature updates for free, yet we charge for search algo updates.

@Thomas Reimann: Not quite so. If we may stress again, only search engine-related data may become unavailable with expired search algo updates. That is, if Google changes its algorithm today, a user will not get data from Google - but this doesn't mean the software will stop working altogether.
Link-Assistant.Com - Jul 8 2014 at 2:33am Copy Link
Jon Spain Well, it may make sense to you but I find that utterly confusing and, frankly, far from acceptable. It is taken as axiomatic that Google will update their algorithms every so often so that, in order to be effective, the software will only remain effective if payments are made every 6 months. While a periodic licensing pricing mechanism is not in itself objectionable, introducing confusion is an unfair marketing technique. Please withdraw the claim to fee lifetime upgrades because it really is meaningless.

Jul 8 2014 at 2:40am Copy Link
Thomas Reimann @Link-Assistant This is definitely not the truth. Google changes the algorithm maybe once a year. During my subscription the software was updated almost daily, and if you miss one version because of missing subscription it stops working completely, even if google has not touched a thing in months. I've bought a "lifetime license" several years ago and felt cheatet when is stopped working after 6 months. I've extended it by paying for 6 more months and the next day after the 6 months passed I could not use a single function because it refused to start.
Jul 8 2014 at 2:40am Copy Link
Link-Assistant.Com @Jon Spain: Thank you for feedback, we'll consider changing the wording - meanwhile, we hope now the issue has been explained, hasn't it?

@Thomas Reimann: The algorithms we're talking about in the context of SEO software are not the same as popular Panda or Penguin updates - these are the ones you must be having in mind. The updates we mean are performed by search engines every other day - and we have to monitor these changes pretty much around the clock to make sure the software interacts correctly with the supported 300+ search engines.

Regarding SEO PowerSuite capabilities after search algo updates expire. We've recently reconsidered the functionality pattern, and pretty much all functions stay in place. As I've written before, certain search engine data becomes unavailable over time, but it's definitely not a matter of one second.

One way or another, search algo updates are crucial to make the software function properly.
Link-Assistant.Com - Jul 8 2014 at 3:21am Copy Link
Thomas Reimann What matters is Google. This is where 99% of the SEO business is. Parsing of Google results to determinate a position of keywords needs to be re-coded maybe every 2 years, when the layout of the search result changes. Yet the day my subscription of my "lifetime updates" product has expired I could not look up the position of my keywords on Google. After I've re-subscribed, and the next 6 month expired the exact same thing happened, I could not look up keyword SEO positions. The software became completely useless to me, and that without Google changing a byte in their html code. I would be completely happy with the version I had when my subscription expired, but you have blocked the access to it. This is a fact.
Jul 8 2014 at 6:58am Copy Link
Jon Spain Why offer unlimited software upgrades when it will stop working after 6 months?

Jul 8 2014 at 7:06am Copy Link
disenchanted Since these programs are a lot like other "subscription based software" programs, [EXAMPLE: anti-virus programs], I think it would be less confusing if the SEO Power-suite just switched completely to a "subscription model".

In my example of "Anti-virus", most people would not keep using any anti-virus program (even if it DID work) after their anti-virus "updates" EXPIRED.
It wouldn't make sense to use a program that relies on current updates, if you are not currently subscribed to those updates.

The SEO biz is as dependent upon its updates to google & SEO algo's, just as an anti-virus program is dependent upon its anti-virus updates.

I would suggest ditching the "lifetime updates" to the main programs, and switch entirely to a subscription model for everything.
It would be a lot less confusing.

Just my 2 cents.
Jul 8 2014 at 7:13am Copy Link
Link-Assistant.Com @Thomas Reimann: You're quite right in some aspects, and we're sorry to hear you're disappointed. Algo updates aside, were you happy with SEO PowerSuite performance?

@Jon Spain: Again, thank you for the feedback, we'll look into changing the wording.

@disenchanted: Thank you for bringing up this relevant example with anti-virus software. Indeed, it's quite close to our case.
Link-Assistant.Com - Jul 8 2014 at 7:38am Copy Link
Thomas Reimann I have used only a small part of the suite to keep track of keyword positions. The version that I've initially purchased I was quite happy with. At some time the GUI was changed to a better looking one, but where you had to do more clicks, so that was a downgrade. But I would have kept using it, if not for the shock that a "free lifetime updates" software stopped working. I felt cheated, but was in the middle of an important project on that day, so had to pay for another 6 months. But after that I've refused to pay. It felt like mob racketeering. I made it my cause that nobody else falls for the same trick as I did. The software is expensive, and if you promise lifetime updates, you should stick to it, no questions asked. edit: a big malus of the version I've used back then, that it had barely any shortcuts, so you could not really operate mostly with a keyboard. You had to do thousands of clicks. Maybe it has changed by now.
Jul 8 2014 at 7:52am Copy Link
Link-Assistant.Com Thank you for your feedback, Thomas, we do appreciate it. Quite interesting the UI upgrade turned out not that handy for you. One of our points with this elaborate pricing model is that it echoes the development support involved: believe it or not, our team is heavily engaged in tracking relevant changes and tweaking the tools accordingly. Also, it redistributes the fee burden: eventually, the software turns out cheaper than $100/mo our competitors charge on average for similar functionality.
Link-Assistant.Com - Jul 8 2014 at 8:12am Copy Link
Thomas Reimann I have no problem with a subscription based model. But usually a subscription model has a very low entry point. You have a very costly entry point + a subscription model. But the worst was really that I had the feeling I'm buying here a lifetime product, and made the purchase because of that. You should write in big letters on top that it is a subscription model, and if you stop paying the product will stop to work alltogether. You don't have the option to use the version you have installed, as long as it keeps working (until Google messes things up).
Jul 8 2014 at 8:42am Copy Link
Constantin Florea We're experiencing a HUGE number of visitors right now - if you have problems please close your browser and try again. We're bringing more servers online to handle the traffic.
BitsDuJour Admin - Jul 9 2014 at 1:57pm Copy Link
Coup Onz The messages posted here seem to clearly explain a subscription must be paid, or the product will stop functioning. This seems 180 degrees opposed to the description's claim of lifetime license. Consideration aborted.
Jul 10 2014 at 10:06am Copy Link
Software Seeker Sorry folks, but this kind of software is not just hugely overpriced, it is simply useless. It keeps surprising me how many companies/individuals (mainly bloggers with their own - mostly ugly-looking website) seem to be able to make money on the topic of SEO. The references on this company's website are just silly. Just try and search for "paper & pen role-playing games". You will not find the company this software supposedly worked wonders for.
Jul 10 2014 at 12:52pm Copy Link
Link-Assistant.Com @Coup Onz: The price includes 6 months of search algo updates. When the period expires, the updates are provided on a paid basis. Paid search algo updates are crucial to make the software function properly and have all the data available.

@Software Seeker: If you believe that the entire SEO industry is overrated and that any SEO software in the market is useless - you're entitled to your own opinion. However, with thousands companies offering SEO services (sometimes as part of web developement and general online promotion packages), it's obvious that such an extensive marketing cannot be built on nothing.

Besides, many of the above mentioned thousands of companies resort to various types of SEO tools (rank trackers, backlink checkers, onpage SEO software, etc.) that really make their job easier. Of course, there is no magical solution that will do all the SEO work for you, and any advertising is a bit of a hyperbole.

Nevertheless, we believe you've made a valid point RE our website, it was built a long time ago, and we're about to release a fresh version. Stay tuned!
Link-Assistant.Com - Jul 11 2014 at 1:16am Copy Link
Jon Spain @Link-Assistant Sorry to belabour the point but I'm still not convinced you've really taken on board that "free unlimited software upgrades" is utterly inconsistent with the software no longer working after 6 months without a further payment. Really, it insults your potential buyers' intelligence.

Jul 11 2014 at 1:22am Copy Link
Link-Assistant.Com @Jon Spain: You definitely make a valid point - we'll look into changing the message.
