Your desk space is limited as it is - so why clutter it even further with additional peripherals? While it may be necessary to use more than one computer, what's not necessary is to have stacks of different keyboards and multiple mice for different hardware setups. That's where today's discount software promotion, ShareMouse, comes into play.

ShareMouse lets you share a mouse and keyboard with multiple networked computers. With ShareMouse, you don't ever have to swap out different sets of peripherals when you switch from one machine to another. In fact, with ShareMouse, all you need to do is just move your mouse pointer to the computer that you wish to control, then resume working as usual! There's no button to push, no switch to toggle. Just glide your mouse over to the border of a monitor, and BAM, your mouse jumps to the next monitor and is automatically linked to that corresponding computer.

You can even use ShareMouse for file transfers between computers, even between different Macs and Windows PCs. Just drag files from one computer over to another - it's that easy! Plus, all of your input is encrypted and transmitted over your existing LAN connection. And, as you would expect, you can even share the clipboard between computers, so stuff you copy on one machine is immediately available for pasting on any other machine.

The Standard Edition supports two Mac or Windows computers, each with one monitor. The Professional Edition supports up to nine Mac or Windows computers with up to 16 monitors in total. Please see for a detailed feature comparison.

This promotion includes the following:
ShareMouse Standard - 1 year maintenance v3.0.56 ($19.95)
ShareMouse Pro - 1 year maintenance v3.0.56 ($49.95)

Sara User Will I be able to use the license key bought here, together with ShareMouse version 2 which can be downloaded from your website? Since I use XP currently.

Will I be able to shift my license key to ShareMouse version 3, downloaded and stored now or within the one maintenance year from date of purchase? For when I switch to Windows 7 or 8 or newer. No concurrent use of ShareMouse versions 2 and 3 intended.

Bartels Media GmbH License keys are also valid for ShareMouse v2. However, support is provided for the current version 3 only.

You can move licenses yourself as often as you want. Please learn more at http://manual.keyboard-an...deregister

John Rowsey What's the difference between the standard version here and the free version for non-professional, non-power users offered on your web site?

Richard Andersen I have 4 windows PCs on the same network, is it possible to have a mouse/keyboard set 1 for PC 1&2 and a mouse/keyboard set 2 for PC 3&4? None of the mouse/keyboard sets are used simultaneously.

Harald Vogel Are there any plans that ShareMouse can also be used with a Wacom Tablet? Thanks.

Ela S. Tested v2 some times ago, and there were following issues, so thanks for your kind clarification:

1. Running a notebook (1. screen) with an external monitor (2. screen) - Win7 64-bit. Wanted to connect a Surface Pro Tablet (3. screen) - Win10 64-bit with ShareMouse. So 2x computers with 3x screens - do I need the Standard or the Pro version for this installation?

2. When connected Surface Pro Tablet (Win8.1 at this stage) with ShareMouse, the mouse pointer disappeared on the Surface Pro Tablet screen. Has this been resolved?

Bartels Media GmbH @Richard: Yes, please check

@Harald: We continuously improve ShareMouse bit we kindly ask for your understanding that we do not publish future features plans. Please make your purchase decison based on what you find today.

@Ela: The Standard Edition supports max 2 monitors. This is one monitor one one PC and one monitor on the other PC. So, you woukd need the Professional Edition. // Windows automatically hides the mouse cursor if no physical pointing device is attached to the computer as the OS assumes running on a tablet. Either connect a physical mouse device or activate "mouse keys" in Windows as a workaround

Dax User Very Misleading Promo.

The Top of the Page says

ShareMouse v3.0.56 Pro Monitor Manager 60% Off $19.95 Price $7.98

Below that the price for TWO Versions is shown, as:

ShareMouse Standard - 1 year maintenance v3.0.56 ($7.98)

ShareMouse Pro - 1 year maintenance v3.0.56 ($19.98)

In REALITY: the $7.98 version is Freeware/Shareware for personal use which is freely downloadable from the manufacturer's website.

So, this promotion is charging $8.98 for FREEWARE and FULL PRICE for the so-called PRO" version.

Bartels Media GmbH @Dax: No, The freeware is not the same as the Standard Edition. Please compare editions at - Thank you.

Peter Ekkerman @ Bartels Media GMBH,

Thank you for the advice.
It's easy to overlook the limitations of both the Free- and Standard- versions
if one runs a standard dual monitor desktop.
I.O.W , this excludes using either one and only the Pro version is suitable.

Dax User I have Laptop computer which I run with the lid-closed using an external monitor.

Will the standard edition treat this as the two-computer/monitor limit?

Jeremy Bennett Do the computers have to be on the same subnet? what about one pc on the network and another also but using vpn (without split dns)

Bartels Media GmbH @Dax: Try the demo and count the monitors in the monitor manager to check whether the 3rd monitor is detected:

Bartels Media GmbH @Jeremy: ShareMouse requires a local network. VPN may work if properly configured but we don't support it if it doesn't work. Please try the free demo:

John H I purchased the pro version. I have a total of 3 Windows computers.

Very very well done program!

The license registered computer must be considered the master and the other slaves.

I have registered ShareMouse on #1. It appears that #1 has to be on to use ShareMouse between #2 and #3 computers. Without #1 on, 2 and 3 revert to trial, works only for about 5 minutes and then prompts me to register. Then when I go to register I get all sorts of warnings about something or other with my license.

Let me register my purchase to each computer and the network. Do away with the master slave concept.

I do not want all of my computers turned on if I only need two.

John H I have been using this for several months. It works perfect if you have several computers in one place that never move. Be prepared to turn it off after boot up if you wander around with the computers. It is easy to loose track of your mouse.

Now I am removing Share Mouse because I am tired of shutting it down when I do not need it.

The problem is that the registration is such that I have to deregister my license key or I loose it forever.

The only thing worse than people who steal software are developers that sell you a program and steal back from you.

I am sure there is a way around this but I am too busy to jump through hoops.

I do not recommend this unless all your computers are one fixed setup.
