In other words: updates to 4.x versions are free, and whenever TopStyle 5 is released, you can upgrade for only $29.

Only IE8 (as an internal browser) is working in the Output Preview pane or in the Full Screen Preview, is it a limitation of the trial version?

TopStyle Support In the output preview pane, TopStyle supports Internet Explorer, Mozilla Gecko, or Apple WebKit. There's a button on the preview pane toolbar (labelled "preview options") that allows you to switch between these layout engines. Alternatively, there's a full screen preview (F12) that allows you to preview these layout engines side-by-side.

It was actually because I had to install XULRunner to get the preview with Mozilla Gecko working.
I also saw that I have to install Safari 3.2.3 or to downgrade it to this version to get the Apple WebKit working, is it something that you are going to change in the future to be able to use a more recent version of Safari.

And what about Firefox internal previews without the need to install XULRunner?
