Roberto i cant install the tswwebcoder2010_24263.exe file. Runtime error 216 at 00000CAB.

windows xp sp3, first time install. any tip?

Philip Avery I imagine Kasper will reply to your query, Roberto, but you might like to reboot, reinstall over the existing installation and then try to remove. Not that it's much comfort to you, but I've just tried a removal in Win 7 64 bit and had no problems.

Having said that, why would you want to? TSW is a very elegant and powerful development environment and is extraordinarily good value at the full price, let alone with the discount.

It says at the time of writing that only 2 people want the deal - there should be a queue of them. I found it when looking for a replacement for Macromedia Homesite. Anybody used to that sort of environment should have a look at it.

Roberto is the installation exe who gives me the error just after double clicking it.

no installation window is opened, the error is the only one that it shows.

i was an user of allaire homesite too :)

Kasper Tanggaard I sent Roberto an e-mail with a request for more details, because I haven't previously heard about the problem he's experiencing. It sounds like the installer is failing, which is very strange. I would probably suggest that the browser cache is cleared and then trying to re-download WebCoder though. If anyone else experiences this, please do let me know!

- will the upgrade discount to TSW 2012 be the normal 25% as in the policy description? Or will it be a special upgrade discount for BDJ TSW 2010 buyers?
- Normally the SiteSync tool costs $ 30 extra when buying TSW. That's a 50% discount on this tool. Will SiteSync be available with the BDJ offer and will it have a 50% or a 61% discount to relieve the credit card pain from us BDJ buyers?

Lupke, the upgrade discount will be the same for everyone. It's usually at least 25% :). I suggest that you get SiteSync along with WebCoder, they really are a great couple :)

Marco, there's no formal transfer. Whenever you need a license for a new machine, you simply request it with your order ID through our webservice. We try to make this process as painless as possible for our customers, so in 99% of the cases, no human contact is necessary :)

Made 10 attempts, but the discount does not work here. I see the discount when I click on buy now. I choose the pro edition. Enter my billing address et cetera, choose my payment (iDeal), enter my VAT number, and click on next. So far so good, but then the discount disappears and the full $99 for the pro version appears on screen. No discount to be found anymore...

Hope this will be solved. Send me a buy link or whatever for the pro version.

Gary, there is IntelliSense and code validation for HTML5, but not for CSS3 yet. It could be added pretty easily though, since you can edit the data files used, if you feel like it :)

Nigel Blumenthal I'm having problems with some of the settings, and have downloaded an update. I don't have a lot of time to test before the deadline; is there a 30-day (?) money-back warranty on the software, before I plunk down my $50 for the Pro version that at the moment looks a little buggy? Actually, if you use the WebDebug feature, you can preview your changes live and then apply the changes afterwards, if they're working out for you :). Nigel, we don't currently have an official refund policy, mainly because it's fortunately so very rarely needed :). However, if you're not satisfied and we can't work out any problems you experience, I will of course issue a refund for you. I don't want to take your money if you're not happy with the product :)

i downloaded http://www.tswsitesync.co...downloaded/ (yes, sitesync), and im having issues too.

"The setup files are corrupted. Please obtain a new copy of the program"

I tryed with chrome, explorer, firefox and maxton, and i disabled my antivirus too before downloading/installing.

im the same guy who had problems with webcoder some posts ago :)

I just tested the download link in a couple of browsers, and everything seems to be working just fine. My primary advice would have been what you have already done: Try another browser and turn off any AV/Firewall. You should be aware though, that if your AV or firewall is causing the problem and you try the download after having turned it off, your browser will likely just serve you a cached version of the download. So, try clearing the cache in one of your browsers, restart it, turn off any AV/firewall software and try again. It really should work :)
