Eric Taneda You may download it by going to http://www.vpndialer.com and click on "download trial." The trial executable is identical to the full product. By entering the product code you will receive, it will activate the same as with a purchased product code, i.e., without expiration.

Eric Taneda @Christopher Temby, we do not currently have an automatic DNS leak fix implemented, but this is on the list of future features. I suggest using manual methods applicable to using built-in dial-up VPN connections, since this is what VPN Dialer extends.

I've gone round and round with Norton about WS Reputation1. If you add it to the "ignored threats" list it still comes up all the time. All it means is they haven't collected very much data about the file. It may be because it isn't used by many people or that it is a new version just released, etc.

Anyway, in my opinion it can be ignored and they should make it easier to shut off. There are a few workarounds but you can't just add it to the ignored list which is ridiculous.

Louis H This kind of thing happens every now and then. I have no doubt that the folks at BDJ will eventually get it all sorted out. When they do, I have no doubts as well that should the fix not happen today, they will provide another opportunity for folks to get this offer.

They will also, as has been their pattern in the past, let us all know via a comment here that the problem is fixed.

Continuing to post "me too" comments that the offer is not currently working, in light of the above note that they are aware of the problem and working on it, will simply clutter up the comment section. So perhaps we could all avoid posting the obvious and instead focus on posting actual reviews or questions about the application itself? Thanks.

Ron Salmon I am concerned about the virus issue mentioned above. I, too, am getting a Norton message saying the install package contains the virus WS Reputation1, which is identifies as a "high risk" threat. Can I feel safe that there is no virus embedded in this software or installer?

For those of you seeing Norton Antivirus Reputation1 warnings, here is a link to a discussion at norton.com that discusses this. Basically, any software they have not "seen" enough times that they have not manually put in as okay, gets flagged. The link also discusses how you can get the file out of "quarantine." VPN Dialer 2012 has been verified by multiple scanners to be free of viruses, and you can download the identical executable from reputable download sites that guarantee the executable has been scanned.

Eric Taneda @Kelly Major - You can download the "trial" at www.vpndialer.com, which is the exact same binary as the full product. The only difference in installing a full product is that you enter the product code you received as part of this promotion, at the end of the configuration wizard, to activate it so it does not expire.
