The Big Fat Man I very hope that it was not a mistake to purchase this program. Was I tricked by an address collector?
A trader who uses a free website? Well ... nothing is impossible. But a pure marketing platform where the actual program acts like a minor point? How does this company describes itself, is not trustworthy for us as users.

Ah, okay. Thanks for the reply. I literally focused only on what @Bill Williams said about the update url, when it doesn't apply to the regular BDJ setup, there shouldn't be something to be worried about but this way people know to avoid updating the program and only use the provided program as is from the receipt.

adamsdaddy @Mark Johnson. I learned something new today- I didn't know zipping had been added to windows. Given that the simple abilities of zip/unzip are present in Windows and my inability to direct ZIP/Unzip to where I want it to save the created zip file...I uninstalled it.

Yesterday the retail price was $8 but free through Bitsdujour. Today retail is $4 but selling for $2 ?

For all the people who downloaded Malware - bummer. I had a similar experience with ChrisPC and its offer of free programs ad free, then disables the version forcing an upgrade which then contains website capturing Malware. No disclosure/opt in/out, during the install of the upgrade.

I wish companies would simply ask for a few bucks and not load their software with undisclosed Malware.
