disenchanted During the holiday time, German software company Softmaker released their new FlexiPDF software.

They offered a few different sales over Christmas/new years.

You can see latest sale at:

AS of today, the offer is:
Save $15 off FlexiPDF AND get a free graphics program worth $99.

1. SoftMaker Office and FlexiPDF are €/US$ 15 off
2. COLOR Projects 4 included for free

Through January 22, we are offering a €/US$ 15 discount on all versions of SoftMaker Office and FlexiPDF. In addition, we include the powerful image-retouching application COLOR Projects 4 for Windows and Mac for free – a €/US$ 99 value!

Image-processing professionals optimize dull photos using the built-in functions of Adobe Photoshop. For everyone else, there is COLOR Projects: Just open a digital photo, and this program immediately gives a multitude of suggestions for improving it. Pale photos, dull colors, flat backgrounds – all can be fixed with a simple mouse click. Its top-notch image-processing algorithms bring your pictures to life!

Normally, this program costs €/US$ 99. But from now through January 22, 2017, we include it with your order of SoftMaker Office or FlexiPDF absolutely free of charge.

disenchanted I have been using the pro version or about a week now.

My only complaint was that I create pdf files from webpages of interest. to me. Why?
Because websites go away, pages change, the company's legal dept is told to stop displaying a certain page due to copyright infringement, and so on.

When it comes to naming the file, Flexipdf always defaults to calling the file

It should do either of 2 things:
1. grab some relevant data/metadata from webpage and create a filename that is related.
If I'm on bitsdujour reading about the s/w program Cintanotes, then my pdf creation s/w should auto-name my pdf file either:
a. Bitsdujour or
b. cintanotes

2. A less graceful option would be to auto-increment the file name to the next available "untitled" file name.

Example: If 1st file name is "untitled" then subsequent files would be names like:

So far that has been my only issue.
I posted this to their forum and the suggestion was added to the list of things for s/w developers to consider/add to a future version.
