The side panel can be removed by itself however, it's not advised as it increases the risk of your child falling out of the cot. However, the patented safety locking mechanism means that it can only stay down when attached to the parent's bed correctly. This feature is fantastic for peace of mind if you breastfeed and require frequent night feeds. Telescopic legs permit the Chicco Next2Me Magic to be used with any bed, such as divan bases as well as beds with drawers. It comes with a tilting function for babies with reflux, as well as the ability to rock to ease them into sleep after a meal.
