What's the one feature on every Windows desktop that EVERYONE takes for granted? Let's say it together now -- the clock! It's not very compelling, isn't it? Well, today, all of our desktop clock fortunes are changing for the better with...Clock-on-Tray!

Clock-on-Tray revolutionizes the way that you check the time on your computer! Featuring over one hundred skins, you'll be able to customize Clock-on-Tray to suit your mood on a daily basis. But yet, Clock-on-Tray isn't just another pretty (clock) face, it's also loaded with functionality that everyone can use!

First, there's the alarm system. With Clock-on-Tray, you can set reminders for yourself, or prepare a specific schedule of tasks for the coming week or month. You can even set different alarms for different tasks to keep yourself on schedule! Alarms can be set hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, annually, or any period you choose.

As a clock, nothing beats Clock-on-Tray! But as a platform, now we're really talking extensibility! Several add-ons are available for Clock-on-Tray, including ones that transform your clock into an analog version, display the phases of the moon, zodiac signs, CPU usage, memory usage, and so much more! Plus, everything that I just said about the clock also applies to the Clock-on-Tray calendar!

This promotion includes the following:
Clock-on-Tray Lite Edition ($14.95)
Clock-on-Tray Standard Edition ($24.95)
Clock-on-Tray Pro Edition ($34.95)
Clock-on-Tray Extended Edition ($44.95)

Louis H Seriously? This is being offered again?

This vendor has abandoned this app.

Promised an upgrade back in October of last year, but none was ever released. And does not even reply, any longer, to requests for info on what happened or why he is missing in action.

BIG BUG in that it required re-activating it EVERY time I started it.

I trusted the vendor's word that a "fix" was "coming shortly," but it never did. I should have been less trusting and gotten a refund.

Please read ALL previous comments before throwing your money away on this one. And go over to the website and see how the "forum" was also abandoned by the vendor.

I am disappointed in BDJ for even allowing this app to still be offered here.

Patrick Yancey Louis H- Thank you very much for the information. I run WIN64 and appreciate knowing in advance that this software does not function properly with the 64-bit version of Windows.

Stephane M Exactly Louis H, the same here...I purchased it the last time it was here and I am facing the activation issue on Win 7 x64 and also had a bug with the Zodiac add-on at the beginning of the year. Update has been promised, I asked the developer to know if the app was abandoned, he replied no, but still nothing.

I finally ended up to uninstall it from my system.

Faisal Humayun Buyer Beware:
This program remains a resource hog in its present, stagnant version. The developer has clearly abandoned development, does not respond to inquiries or provide support.

Promises for an upgrade were unkept without so much as a courtesy of explanation. This has ultimately marred any and all good faith since the last solicitation on BDJ.

I'd strongly suggest that BDJ remove this offering from their routine circulation of programs.

Jason Howard To the above posters (and the "Older Comments"), "Thanks for the heads up". I find it hard to refuse attractive clock and alarm programs, but considering the history of this - it sounds like a this would be a regrettable purchase. Oh well - I'm still very happy with http://www.bitsdujour.com...clock-pro/ and http://www.bitsdujour.com...l-edition/

d adams With all of the problems this program has why is it still being offered here? Makes me wonder about this site as well as the developers of this program. Thank you to the people that let us know about this program.

Patrick Yancey Yes this feedback rich process is quite effective. Thanks to all for sharing and to BDJ for providing that capability.

Marvin Adams who's buying this at $45? It's way too expensive. Even for $22 when all the core features are part of any other schedule/organizer application. Skins for a clock? Jeez, if you anything better to do, don't waste your precious money, time and screen real estate on this one.

RM Quoted from the developers' website...

http://www.posiboltsoftwa...y/about-us

"The customer is always right"

"Posibolt Software care about you, our customers. We believe that the customer is the most important aspect of Posibolt Software. We use our own products on a daily basis for updating our web site, promoting our site, and issuing new products and announcements. However, we create software for you, the user. That is why the most important key to our business is making the user happy. We deal with email as our primary source of communication and treat them as such. You can always count on getting a prompt, helpful, and detailed response to inquires or problems; often in the same day. Not many companies can claim to that."

So with so many complaints about this software and developer, when will the developer respond to their customer's inquiries? There are a lot of unhappy customers now and I thought their goal and aim is to make their customers happy?

Jason Howard Curious. Some posts/topics on the Clock-on-Tray forums appear to have vanished since I last visited the other day.
Perhaps it's easier than responding to questions.

Roger Thomasson @ Jason

Which posts and topics are you referring to?

Jason Howard Sorry Roger, I meant the forums on the *developers website* appear to have been "sanitised". From memory they were similar in content to earlier posts from here. (eg. Bug Reports - Promises of pending fixes - queries when updates did not eventuate - then "posts gone"). Of course I may have imagined reading it all... it never happened.
