Eric Dear Sirs,

This follows my attempt to download a trial version of this software and give it a try.

I was requested, by MS-Tech, to submit contact info to get a trial key - done!

Downloaded the software and tried to run the Installer: both Windows' internal security ("Unsigned Installer!") and Norton ("Unknown Installer") and Zemana ("Possible Key-Logger") popped-up with warnings for me NOT to run the file (eventually, Zemana quarantined it).

Went to MS-Tech's Home page to send a Support request to make sense of all this: after a mandatory registration procedure, I tried to log-in (1st time in my life at this Web site), only to be met with an "Your access to this site has been temporarily limited by the site owner" error message!

Something is clearly wrong here - it surely scared me off of trying to have anything further to do with this piece of software or MS-Tech as a whole for that matter!

BDJ: you may wish to check on this - your loyal Users rely on you.

All the best,

Eric

Constantin Florea @Eric, I have just contacted the vendor regarding the issue you mention as he will be able to better help in this case.

As a suggestion: if you have a dynamic IP address,I would say you try to restart your router/device, the one which holds/receives/is responsible with the public IP address. Some sites may block certain IP addresses and when perhaps you stumbled upon (you were assigned) an IP address which this site is blocking.

In any case, the vendor should shed more light on this blocking issue.

MSTech Dear Eric,
the setup is completely clean and safe to use. you can check the links below for more information:

https://www.softpedia.com...erge.shtml

https://www.virustotal.co.../detection

Note: The eGambit and also the Endgame are false positive and we already communicated with them.

You can make an exception for the setup file and install the software.

Best Regards,
Mary Johnosn,
MSTech Support Team
Eric @Florea: Thanks for the prompt & effective action :)

@ Mary: Thanks for the reassuring reply. It doesn't however explain your Support site locking me out of it the very 1st time I attempted to login, after creating the account (or we would have this talk at your site and not at BDJ's). Ideas?

Also, the fact that the Installer is probably clean, doesn't explain why it is not Microsoft signed, to ensure a smooth & worry-free installation.

Mary: I'd appreciate your comments on this too ...

Thanks,

Eric

Constantin Florea @Eric, Sure, I just emailed the vendor letting him know about your comment. Just so you know, for every comment a customer adds on a promotion page, the vendor is automatically notified.

Also, please notice that it is always up to each vendor if they want to reply on the comments section of the promotion page for their product. We cannot force our vendor to reply if they don't want to.
