Philip Dow =) Thanks for the kind comment. It's a fun app to use, and I think it does a good job of providing an environment that encourages writing. It'd be nice to have a windows version of it, but alas my programming capabilities are limited to the Mac.

Great looking app here, I'm surprised I've never seen or heard of it before.

What's this about 'turning your own handwriting into a font' within the app? Is that something easy to do?

Philip Dow Ah yes. I had a link up on the Sprouted webpage until the site underwent a recent redesign. YourFonts ( http://www.yourfonts.com/ ) offers a pretty neat service to convert handwriting samples into a reusable font on the computer. Per Se doesn't do this itself, but once you've used their service Per Se supports the font, and you can use it in other applications.

A. Goyal Windows users can use Microsoft OneNote. I have used it for years and am very happy with free flow data entry and tabbed notebooks.
