J S Hi Daniel, Well if you had made this 20 or 30 folders instead of just 10 then I'd have bought this so so very quickly.

I'd like the Win 7 & 8 version of "File-Ex v3.x" by [] which was really really handy,

File-Ex v3.x gave the USER quick access to the last 100 "Favourite Files & Folders" & "Recent Files & Folders"

Unfortunately File-Ex didn't work well with later versions (service packs) of XP and Vista and I presume the same for Win 7 & 8.

Question: So does this Buzz Folders Pro thingy that Danny mentioned do anything like File-Ex v3.x did?

J S Daniel, My apologies for the inconvenience, the name prompted my memory and I looked through my old records. I WAS actually buying the Buzz Folders Pro back on the 15th November 2012.

For what it is worth:
Back in November I was actually in the process of completing my order for the Pro version at 68% OFF £29 = £9.28 sterling price when I discovered there was an Extreme version which tracked FiLES as well as Folders. For me FiIes as well as Folders is a MUST.

I didn't complete my PayPal process, in order to see if there was anyway I could buy or upgrade to the Extreme version, but by the time I discovered that I could buy the Pro and then pay the Upgrade price, (making a Total of £39.28 for Pro+Upgrade to Extreme) PayPal said my order was expired and then not long after the BitsDuJour Offer also expired,

So at he time I simply assumed there was no way to renew my PayPal order, but since then I have had reason to buy something else using PayPal and discovered that a timed out PayPal order could be renewed. I'll freely admit I'm not really conversant with how PayPal works, as I have only ever used PayPal twice before (and as I don't have a PayPal account), I used the 'Pay with Your Credit Card' option to complete those transactions.

So knowing what I have since November 15th I could have actually completed my Pro order and upgraded it too.

I have deleted the screenshots but according to my text file I keep for my software purchases the following steps were what took place.

The original Bitsdujour Buy now link:

Which opened a specific Bitsdujour priced order page:

If my memory is correct that Special Bitsdujour link eventually took me to a PayPal screen with the following link:

I'm currently on GMT+10hrs so I may not be available for much longer tonight, in case You want to email me directly.

bvssunnydale If you like quick access to a FILE (my more frequent need) then install Void Tools "Everything" tool from (assign it a shortcut if you really want to be quick). My job is very FILE specific/intensive and it's saved me more time than I would've believed (just a suggestion). I'm sure Zen Folders if very good at what it does as well, but for finding specific files nothing beats the almost instantaneous speed of "Everything".
