BitsDuJUser Hello!

The number of users of Outlook 2007 can be estimated in five figures.

Most of the utilities developers offering their discounts here do not even achieve their target of four figures.

Now if Bits du jour contacts and identifies many developers offering tools and utilities regarding outlook 2007, then everyone may profit both ways.

There are many utilities and tools for outlook that are either too expensive or not worth for ther price.

By bringing them under the deals of Bits du jour, the developers may enjoy a bit of sales as well as bits du jour the publicity and the users their deal.

I do know many of them that I personally may think of buying them for 30% or 50% of the price.

Also, I would suggest that if a few developers come togather and offer a comnbined discount i.e. a package deal then it will help everyone tremendously. If a user goes around shopping each and every tiny little function and feature for Outlook 2007, then the entire emailing software costs atleast five times the original price.

The same applies to other software, like package deals....

Roger Thomasson I'm a little confused. Are you talking about a particular title or suite of titles?

BitsDuJUser Hi,

It may be a Bundle of software suite comprising of x software producers to be called as "BUNDLE OF PLUGINS", since most of them are plugins.

For e.g. one plugin may be for sorting emails, one for mass mailing or creating and managing distribution lists, one for capturing email addresses, one for managing contacts, etc.

So if there are 15 developers willing to give a bundle offer, all for 50% or even 65% then in the Bundle there could be 3 plugins set. There could be five Bundles sale, each having different plugins.

Such a concept could be a super hit as users may be attracted to buy them for cheap, usability increases, developed software has more reachibility, developers profit as well.

BitsDuJUser The latest bundle offer for four programs in one may have not interested many.

The diversity of the combination may not reach everyone's needs.

For e.g. Fix-I)t Utilities was the only one that I may have bought. So in fact the bundle offer did not help me.

But for Outlook 2007 is different. It relates to one and one only program.

So for e.g. a bundle of 2 or a bundle of three may cover many and the extra purchase will not result in to a forced purchase.

Get it?
