I meant no disrespect. PE is totally awesome... I'm just quite disappointed that PE does not value customer loyalty.... they charge the exact same amount ($70) for a new customer here as an upgrade for a loyal customer.

Please advise?

BitsDuJour is a mechanism for software publishers to attract new customers. That's why they agree to promote with us.

If you follow the logic through it doesn't make a lot of sense for a publisher to offer upgrade discounts here. They'd be giving us a cut of their revenue for customers they already have direct access to.

That's why you rarely see upgrade discounts offered here. It's simply outside the scope of our service.

Saying that current users are not eligible for this offer (as you said to Harald above) makes you look cheap and shortsighted.

The yearly renewal fee is $65 which is damn steep anyway but that's another story.

Grinding the extra $15 for the regular renewal fee out of your current users when you give newbies a cheaper price makes you look like you DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU YOUR LOYAL USERS AT ALL.

thanks so much for your feedback and there must be a misunderstanding here.

What I mean is that what I got here on sale is a new license for PhraseExpander Pro (not an upgrade license).

Of course current customers are more than welcome to purchase a new license here.

If your upgrade protection has expired or it's expiring it would probably be cheaper to get your new license at discount.
