normally you do not get an registration code in the receipt email fo? this app
you just download the installer file (in the archive) and install it. it is "preactivated", i.e. it's a special installer that connects with their server at first run and fetches the reg data. click about afterwards and you see that it's registered

JW I'm a long time user of AllMyNotes, and it's a great program.
I see that here we're being offered v4.14 as (presumably) that's the latest version.
Just want some assurance since the Website shows the current version being v4.12.

Constantin Florea After you login in BitsDuJour, please go to the Purchases page of your account, there please identify your purchase for this promotion, then open the "Receipt" link associated to that purchase and open it. In that receipt page and under the Instructions section you will find the direct URL to the installer. The installer is unlocked so it will appear as registered right after it is installed. You don't need a separate registration code to register this product when using that installer.

JW Following up on the comment that v4.14 is "an official release for BDJ users" I opted to take up the offer on the "Commercial use" version of v4.14 and paid the $9.95. When the BDJ "paperwork" came through, I downloaded from the link given in the Receipt ... turns out that's a 'Lite' version of the software!!
What's going on here, Volodymyr?
I'm actually trying to pay a little to help get the next version into release!
Version 5 was in build 2400 (beta) back in May 2024 when version 4.12 was released. Now we see Version 4.14 just for BDJ users ...?

anonny User The installer I got contains BOTH 32bit and 64bit executables AND runs under Vista just fine and displays BDJ license details. so if you have this under 32bit windows Vista to 10 you can participate without fear the "Platforms" text under the image is not accurate as usual. The installer is self-activated and a special giveaway specific build so even if the email does NOT arrive like normal you should be able to download it from the purchase summary in your BDJ account data.

Volodymyr Frytskyy @anonny User: Version 4.14 is specific to BDJ build. On our web-site we'll release version 4.15 soon, it should not bother you.

If you paid $0 just stay with your BDJ's version 4.14 (it's not upgradable to version 4.15 or 5.xx).

If you paid $9.95 you will be able to upgrade to 4.15, also the code will work for version 5.xx beta while it's in beta-testing stage, as beta versions accept codes from older versions. Also, if version 5.xx will go out of beta within a year since now, all purchased customers will receive this major upgrade to 5.xx series for free, as we provide 1 major upgrade protection policy for all purchased users. This is our upgrade policy in general.

What do you mean by the odd phrase "On our web-site we'll release version 4.15 soon, it should not bother you. " why should it not bother me that I and other BDJ users have been involuntarily conscripted into your unannounced pre-release version testing that has NOT been out for public beta on your site as your public beta is for version 5.xx and you did not run a parallel announce public beta test for 4.15 which is the service that were are in fact providing for you now. I don't like being manipulated or deceived, just state what you are doing up front and solicite people capable of handling bugs and reporting them without panicking over data loss and provide reward for the service with a proper giveaway of the final "stable" release version you go with on your site! Instead of potentially leaving us with widely untested version that may contain undisclosed, undiscovered bugs like second class citizens.
