DrTeeth Brilliant software, does what it says reliably. I have had this for well over a year and it is the best IMHO.

RARELY tries to back up Outlook when the latter has not closed down fast enough. Have requested a user-defined delay be implemented. Not fault of this software.

Good tech support and responsive vendor.

Bob Hughes Why does the license for this software expire after 16 months? Essentially, this is a 16 month software "rental", after which one would have to purchase another licence, correct?

first of all this is a manual task for you. You need to remember to do this regularly.
'Backup Outlook' does this for you automatically. Calculate how much time you save with this automation and you know your ROI.

Additionally 'Backup Outlook' doesn't back up only the pst file. There are several settings backed up which are spread all over your computer. You can back up those settings manually, too.
But you need to know exactly where to find these entries and your afternoon is gone - each time you want to back up your Outlook.
