Barry Kintner -- I currently use another re-naming program for the past several years and I am familiar with. I wanted to see how this one really works with as much info as possible to choose from for assessment. First - the link on the page took me to the DiskAnalyserPro website - so I had to guess (successfully) at the ExtraRenamer URL. Minor but critical item for me - getting to the website for every offer, very important.

-- My first learning tools are screenshots. I'd much prefer to assess any software by the screenshots first. Then the text to explain it if I like the working area. I understand the idea of keeping a webpage inside that cross-browser friendly size for all info - BUT ... With monitors getting larger and larger, up to say 2000 pixels wide - and you are offering a program that uses the full screen instead of a window, it is very difficult to even see the info in the screenshot. I'd suggest at least giving us the option of displaying a -large- screenshot that we can really see, and read, all info on that page/screenshot. I'm not likely to change resolutions on my monitor - and so many people are using LCD's that look crappy when not used at the native resolution.

-- Maybe we can see that before the offer expires - easy fix. Thx.

Manoj Shinde I thought you would mention a problem with ExtraRenamer when you said you are familiar with another program.
Barry Kintner Good day -

-- ??? Confusing. What problem? What problem would I mention? I am -not- familiar with the program. I wanted to see how it works, to gain some familiarity, before deciding on the purchase and change from a program I am familiar with.

Manoj Shinde OK Barry.

Let me know if you have any suggestions / issues when you try and download the software.

Thank You
Barry Kintner -- Ummm - I won't be downloading the software without some assessment -before- even considering downloading it, or trying it - that was the point of going to the website first to see the screenshots, then read a bit about it to see if I like the way it works on paper - and of course if I like the interface. My current one (used for several years now) has 18 full sized screenshots to illustrate in as exact fashion as possible what each renaming function requires and does - which helped a great deal in not only the choosing of the program, but knowing in advance that it did what I liked and needed, and I liked the interface. It is a little convoluted, but that may work in it's favor as I cannot make certain errors (if I pay attention) - and that is what I wanted to see about a possible new (and paid) program versus my freeware.
