Right click context menu encryption, how much easier can it get!

The interface is way simpler than True Crypt ..... True Crypt just does not understand that non programers might want to use an encryption program. A program is not free if it has the cost of a steep learning curve and lost files due to a hostile interface. Kruptos has no learning curve cost and is idiot proof.

Sometimes even the file name can give away sensitive information and Kruptos is gives the choice to mask file names in an encrypted folder. Not every encryption program does this.

Licensing policy is such that if the company goes out of business, is sold, I loose internet connection or the zombie apocalypse happens, I will still be able to load and activate Kruptos on any of my computers to access my files.

Roger Rabbit This looks like a very good deal, but I note from the website the encryption on offer is not the usual AES-256, which is reckoned to be unbreakable, but Blowfish and a number of other algorithms.
Forgive my ignorance, but is this just as secure?

steve beckett Hi Roger Rabbit,

There is no effective cryptanalysis for Blowfish (as of 2012) with this in mind Blowfish is very secure. Kruptos 2 Professional has been designed in such a way that if Blowfish were to be considered weak then we would switch to using AES (AES is already in the program but not used).

Nick Kobe Can Kruptos 2 Professional be hidden? Can the icon on encrypted files be changed so that they cannot be identified as encrypted files when viewing the icons? Thanks?

steve beckett Kruptos 2 does not have a stealth mode i.e. hidden\disguised icons. It’s a good idea though. I’ll add this to the feature request list for consideration.

John Hood Lacks one thing that causes me to pause. Currently I use Kryptel. The reason I favor it over your program is that I can drop a file or folder on the Desktop icon and it will open. Unless I am missing something, you do not have a drag and drop feature. Do you plan it? My right click menu is full, and I really don't like to keep adding things to it.
