does the program also have a help file, telling, what is the default file path for the bookmarks of the different browsers (for not so experienece users, which don't have changed the default path) - looking at the support video didn't give more information.?

bvssunnydale Hi, as a forever user of PowerMarks I've long been looking for a replacement - does this have (1) the ability to enter and search by tags or keywords (the most valuable feature of PowerMarks)? and (2) the ability to add links directly from the browser (Powermarks adds an icon and runs from the toolbar - but, while it still works, it's been discontinued). Also, I assume this is just a program and not the USB drive shown with it's name on the side (that seems confusing/misleading). Thanks, Wm Sore

Jonathan Keener I think this looks like a nice program. I've got a couple of questions before I make a purchase:

1. What's the real difference between this portable edition and the non-portable edition that you offer? I might have missed it, but I didn't see anything specific on your site that explained why someone might want one vs. the other.

2. I notice that you have an export feature. One thing that I thought would be nice with this is the ability to quickly put the bookmarks online, into an online bookmark repository, so they could be accessed from any machine. It would be nice if this program had the ability to push directly to an online bookmark repository. Also, it would be nice to be able to export to an XML file. If I pushed the XML out to my own page, I could then render the data however I wanted.

Overall, I'll probably make a purchase of this today.

Paul Bejenari In a PC version you can view bookmarks of a all supported browsers simultaneously. You can copy only selected bookmarks from one browser to another. Portable version can import only all bookmarks from browser and can't to view it simultaneously.
After a couple of months we will be releasing a new version, in which we will combine the functions of both programs (Portable and PC). We will try to implement your ideas. Thank you!

LU What is your upgrade policy. I see you state free lifetime updates on your website, but does that mean major version upgrades after purchase as well?

I assume that you have changed your upgrade policy since your reply on to Yo yo on Oct 11th of 2009 on this page?

In any case, I will be purchasing this. This is a true time saver product for anyone like myself who is constantly doing software testing for software reviews and are always restoring their systems.
