Vadim Tukaev What about WMV3? What about 2-pass XviD with adjusting quality by choosing max bitrate (not by setting average or constant bitrate)?

Let's say I choose 1500Kb/s. It means that during any moment of movie the speed won't exceed this limit. However average speed will be lower. How lower? It is impossible to predict. It depends on the initial file.

M. W. Better than typing a serial is always to use copy and paste - take a look at the link below the fields for the serial, even better using this link instead of the keys ^C / ^V, every block of the serial number will be filled at once, eliminating the '-' characters.
Just be aware that this method requires that you must copy the string in the bitsdujour mail only, copy the line from start to the end but not to the begin of the next line.
Doing so I did not have any problems and the program was immediately registered (without a special message). Starting it again just for to check if I was successfull indeed there was no nag screen any more

P C Found the problem! It is suspected that the software was unable to recognise the default path C:\Program Files\Engelmann Media\Mobile Video 2.0\ when working on a double-byte character set Windows environment. There was a special char being embedded between 'Video' and '2.0' during the installation.

To resolve the problem, just rename the program path during installation. Let say, to remove all spaces, change it to C:\Program Files\EngelmannMedia\MobileVideo2.0\. Then it should work fine!

Jim Stone The output profiles in this appear to be severely out of date. For example, the only Android device that is supported is the original G1 phone from 2008, which is listed simply as "Android" in the program, presumably because it was the only Android device in existence when these profiles were written.

Paul Shuman For this free program, you have to enter a 30 digit unlock code by hand (not with a clipboard) each time you open the program. The program won't remember the unlock code. This is not much of a good free offer.
