Michael K When this was last offered in September 2011 it allowed installation on up to 3 computers - is that still the case with this offer.
If so, I am interested as I have my own laptop and PC plus my wife's laptop I'd want to install it on.

The last offer in September was only $5 more to cover the 3 computers which would be perfect - Is it possible you could incorporate this so one could have a choice at time of purchase as to whether to take the one computer licence for $29.97 or 3 computers for $34.97. Bits could put that option behind the Buy Now button if you folks are agreeable to it.

I'm not sure how I missed it last time as I look on Bits every day.

Bruce I am wondering what exactly this product really is. (since so many of the firewall companies now seem to sell/download just a single massive everything installer no matter what you try to get)
Is it a firewall with built-in anti-spyware malware blocking? (which is what it seems from the Outpost chart)
Is it smaller/lighter download and application than the Outpost suite?

Reason I ask is that the Outpost site products chart seems to show that all the products (AV, Firewall, Suite) do the same thing with just minor difference of: no AV in Firewall, no firewall in AV, Suite has both.
And I ask this because I currently already have a working AV (antivirus, antispy, antimalware) program and a startups watcher and a firewall (free SPF).
The firewall I use is Sunbelt personal, which I have rather finely tailored for both incoming and outgoing rules. And it is very light on my P4 Windows XP system.
So while I consider the Outpost Firewall, I do not really need another spyware blocker when I already have

It looks like Outpost is two way , but it is unclear from the screen shots how much control over rules I will have, the examples seem pretty general. And the two PDFs, which really seem to be the only documentation I found on the Firewall, do not explain how much control I can have over firewall rules.
Ideally, I would like to implement the rules I have already built (and listed) for my Sunbelt firewall.

I am considering this because I expect to be upgrading to a new computer and the old Sunbelt I have may possibly not be able to run as well under Windows 7 (64). So I might get this if it looks like a solid tool, which would allow me to specify rules for 2-way blocking, and would not be double-checking everything on top of already existing AV, Spyware protection.
I tried to download from the Outpost site to check, but only product available was the CNet linked 90+MB suite download. So I have no idea how large or 'heavy' a product the Firewall (only) product will be.

Agnitum PR Bruce, Outpost Firewall Pro includes anti-spyware (further - ASW) with real-time protection, mail, files and archives scanner. If you already have your anti-malware product installed, our ASW will be automatically turned off to prevent incompatibility.

It's not possible to implement Sunbelt firewall rules to Outpost - there is no option to use exported rules in Outpost, we have own configurations.

Besides the standard 2-way connections filtering, please do not forget about Firewall features with IP BlockList (to block the huge lists of unwanted connections) and Web Control module features - Ad block, blocking spying URLs and another content filtering options.

But the main protection and control level is provided by sub-modules of Proactive Protection module (mostly devoted to HIPS, Host-based Intrusion Prevention System) with Anti-Leak, System Guard, sensitive Application data Guard, Files and Folders Lock.

And the last but not least - you will have access to create/modify auto-created (if applicable) rules and detailed controls for any existing program - Network/Application Rules and additional controls like Network Activity, Process Activity, Files & Registry Activity, etc.

Also, Files & Registry controls are implemented.

My understanding is that the Lifetime License includes free upgrades to ALL future versions of Outpost Firewall Pro which includes Minor and Major versions, Am I correct ?

Folks, Agnitum have have a business to run with many many customers outside of us at Bits and the upgrade requests clearly require manual intervention on their part and is not automated

Seems some folks expect a drive through service. - How about giving them some time, like a few hours!

Alan Sawyer I was thinking about purchasing this but have a question.
I currently use a different anti virus but was thinking that maybe I would try Outpost's, however it says it's incompatible with Firewall pro, because it includes all that Firewall Pro has in it., however there is no lifetime option for the antivirus, so if I by this today, and later decide to upgrade to the anti virus product, I am wasting my money.

Am I confused?
