For quite a while, Adobe PDF documents were a lot like goldfish – nice to look at, but you couldn’t really do anything with them. For instance, if you wanted to make a comment or correction, you either had to email your suggestions outside of the document, or, worse yet, if you needed to sign a document in PDF form, you’d have to print it out, slap your John Hancock on it, then rescan the whole thing back into PDF.
PDF Annotator 2 brings a whole new level of utility to PDF documents, by allowing you to add your own comments, corrections, signatures, highlighting, even designs and drawings to PDF files! Your annotations are saved as part of the original PDF file, so you can email documents back and forth with coworkers and everyone will instantly see your notes when they open the PDF, without the need for any additional software.
The latest and greatest version of PDF Annotator 2 comes with a handy page manager that allows you to work with your documents as thumbnail images that you can rotate, reorder, and clone. A toolbox function means that access to highlighters, colored text, underlines, and push-pins are just a click away. You can even use a tablet or your mouse to draw lines in freehand in the document, and PDF Annotator 2 will automatically smooth those lines into crisp and clean horizontal and 90 degree vertical lines. And, of course, you can manage bookmarks and perform text searches!
Going to your web sight, I needed two questions answered. One was is it compatible with Vista. According to your web sight it is yes. The other question, I could not find. If I purchase this, can I use it both on my main system and my laptop?
After trying your program out, I went to your web sight to check pricing. I now very, very confused about your pricing policy. Your web sight says the price for for a single licence is $99.90 and you are stating your price is $69.95 and on sale for $34.95. Would you please explain what is the differene between web price and this price and exactly what is included and for how long? You also mention something about a seat, but I could not figure out exactly definition of this word.
@Mary Wilson: PDF Annotator supports Windows Vista. Our license allows to install on both your desktop and laptop and use one of these installations at a time, but not both concurrently. The concurrent use of multiple installations, or by different users, requires additional licenses. Our single license price is $69.95. At that regular price, we offer an optional 2 Years Upgrade Protection (which includes all minor and major updates and priority support for 24 months) at $29.95. That's how you got to $99.90. A seat is one license. This does only matter if you're going to purchase multiple licenses.
Is there a discount for the student version?
@Fran: This deal is only on the single regular license, sorry.
Can an active hyperlink be added /edited into an existing document that the reader clicks the electronic link and goes to "www.ograhl.com" for example,by using PDF Annotator ?. I can send handwritten email by pdf but can't add links with what I use now for making the pdf document.
When I purchased this the link did not offer me the 2 Year upgrade protection. Where does this leave me for minor and major upgrates?
@Dennis: Hyperlinks cannot be added, sorry! @Mary: Minor updates are always free. Our Upgrade Assurance additionally covers major updates for 48 months. The cost for the Upgrade Assurance is $29.95, which is less that what we charge for a single update. For technical reasons, Upgrade Protection is not selectable with this deal, because it circumvents our regular shop page. If anybody buys/bought through this deal and wants to add Upgrade Protection, please contact us at support_en at grahl-software.com and mention your purchase number.
Can PDF Annotator 2 run from a usb drive, eg not actually being installed on the computer it's running on? I would like to be able to run it on my laptop and my office computer, but I can't install software on my office computer.
@Alan: We don't officially support USB installations, but just try if it works for you using the downloadable trial from our website.
I don't see 'buy now' option. why? I already have a trial version that expired long ago. I'm ready to buy now.
Kat, this deal expired at 11:59pm EST on the 19th. Don't forget that you can always sign up to receive email notifications for any of our deals. Best! -roger
I am confused. On Tuesday, I found the student version on sale and one of the comments said look for the standard version at half off this Thursday which is today - so I came back today.... ???
Kat, please send me a personal email and I'll put you in touch with the developer. He'd like to help you make the purchase :-) roger@iconico.com Best! -r
I found your website yesterday and want to buy this software. "We're offering PDF Annotator 2.0 to students tomorrow for an incredible $14.95!" I don't see such an offer today. I am graduate student, however, and I definitely want to buy it!
Every day we offer 24 hour discount deals, on a Windows software application, or a web service. We feature our deals at a substantial discount; the discount is available for that day only.
We don't process the sales; we just arrange the discounts and provide the links. You buy the program right from its vendor. Everything we feature is a legal, current version of the product.
