I bought this at full price some months ago and have never regretted a penny of the investment! This is absolutely the very best print program. I used FinePrint for many years before this but PriPrinter is vastly better, exceptioanlly powerful, very user friendly and with a range of features it is hard to credit, including actually making corrections and changes to print jobs (eg changing a spelling, highlighting/recolouring text etc). You can also zoom and move whole print jobs on the virtual paper to achieve exactly the result you want before you waste toner and paper. Not only that but the developer response is excellent if an issue does arise. I recommend this very highly indeed.

Dan Panke Is there a way to make "Copies" from within priPrint? Example: I print to priPrint and make changes to the document but I want 3 copies of my changes. I can't seem to find this feature.

Current offer is related to priPrinter Standard Edition.

"Number of Copies" is available in Print dialog: File -> Print.

Another way will be in putting "Number of Copies" onto "Quick Access Toolbar". Just click on Quick Access Toolbar configuration arrow.

This is a *wonderful* product. It's one of the major work/workflow changing utilities.

I was a very happy, long-time user of the esteemed FinePrint--until I tried and then purchased priPrinter the last time it appeared in BDJ.

priPrinter is a much more advanced, newer-generation product, and very easy to use.

I use priPrinter routinely as printer output; I have a better preview and much more control than with the standard "Print Preview," (or even with FinePrint) and can tweak the output at will. I save paper and bulk, too.

I am *very* happy with priPrinter and use it constantly. (See my comments in the "Old Comments" section for more details).

*Very* highly recommended!

Dan Panke I'm very disappointed that the Professional version won't be offered at the same time. However, I will be buying this offered version of priPrinter but it is highly unlikely I will ever upgrade to the Professional.

Stefan Hauber I also bought the offer last time and am very happy with it. Of couse it is my standard-printer.

There is one thing I am wondering, though? If I e.g. print the screenshot-page (of e.g. this product) only that much is printed as has place on a single page. That means the third screenshot is not printed at all. Why is this the case? In my opinion it is, because the shown three images are in reality just one. But it would be nice, if priPrinter would find a way to split this one image over two (or more) pages...

I have to admit, I would also like to have the pro-version offered here. It's not so much the pdf-printing-ability - there are a lot of pdf-printer-drivers out there. It's the possibility to rearrange objects. Of couse I would need to test these features yet, if they would fullfil my needs. So perhaps next time?

I was very excited just now, when I noticed that priPrinter was back on BDJ. But like several other posters, I really wanted the Pro version.

So I think I'll pass this time and keep hoping the Pro version will be offered in not too long.

(Obviously, this is a 'nice to have' utility for me, not something I absolutely need)

Regarding "screenshot-page":

You are right, these screenshots are one picture, that's why your browser (IE, Firefox or Chrome) does not print it correctly, it can't fit it into one page. In this particular case you may define tall page and print to it from your browser. Page size could be 200x600 mm for instance.

I have recently discovered this category of printer utilities and have been evaluating FinePrint, based on a recommendation I picked up elsewhere. I have been using it for a couple of weeks and I am very impressed. I was about to purchase a license until I saw this offer come across BTJ. PriPrinter definitely has a modern look and feel, but there is one feature I noticed that FinePrint does, but am unable to find it in PriPrinter is the ability to add a page number to the source pages. For example, if I print a sheet with 4 pages on it, how can I tell the page order of those pages. I did noticed that I can view the page numbers on screen, but can I print the page number on the sheet as well?

Also, count me in as someone who would be interested in the Professional version. The one professional version feature I want is the ability to edit the pages before printing. I don't believe that is possible in FinePrint, but I have noticed instances where that feature would have been useful.

Just go to Insert tab and click on Job Page Number. You will be able to change position, font, attributes, etc.

I guess I didn't realize it before because the job page number looked a lot like it was the sheet page number (I guess I was looking at a source page of 1 on a sheet so they appeared the same).

Jim Maioriello One feature that I really like about FinePrint is the page text expands to use all of the whitespace available. In effect, margins are at their absolute minimum and the text size is maximized. Both help make it page more readable and I believe it's a more efficient use of the available page. FinePrint does this automatically.

Can I get PriPrint to do this as well? I have tried to make it do that by adjusting the margins and custom scaling and such. But, I just can't get it to come out the same. And, you have to reset those setting if you change the # pages/sheet.

I assume, it is because of margins in source pages - they are not removed automatically now (this feature will be added soon).

You may achieve this by selecting Auto Trim button in crop tab or by defining margins in printer preferences.

Jim Maioriello Aron, I tried your suggestion of using the Auto Trim property and it worked nicely in this one instance. I will also play with defining the margins and see if that's make a difference too. Perhaps, I can use that to make the process automatic.

I cannot send you the document I was using as it contains proprietary information, but thanks for the offer anyway. I can tell you this document is basically several pages of tabular data where the table columns extended beyond the paragraph margins defined in Word.

Jim Willis Hello - I tried several times to order this software and found that I COULD NOT ORDER IT.
Trying to order by using my Visa card and I get a message telling me Visa orders ARE NOT ACCEPTED using a free email address, which is the only email address I have ever used. Been using this for 8 years now and NEVER had any problems ordering anything online - until now.
I'm instructed to use Paypal with my free email address-so I try that and IT STILL DOES NOT WORK.
I'm now really unhappy and feel that this is total BS on someones part.
I've talked to you guys both by phone and by email and found that you were pretty nice folks.
Unfortunately, I can't say that about your order processing outfit Digital River.
Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Software Guy Can not purchase - order form says it does not accept free email accounts, but my email account is not free and I have used it for many years.

1. I too would request something be offered about the Pro Version be it a discount of upgrade discount, as it's the version I'd prefer to buy as it allows the user to enter text (according to the comparison page)

2. Re: Free eMail: I actually haven't made my purchase yet, so I can't confirm what has been written by others, but will do when I get home and have more time, HOWEVER I have bought software recently via secure.Shareit.com and I DO NOT have a paid email account (Gmail.com for me) and I have not had any problems purchasing software offered on BitsDuJour.com.

Having said that I don't recall seeing the "Free eMail" clause in my previous purchases, (is it specific to Pelikan Software purchases on Sharetit?)

I suppose I'll find out if I can successfully buy priPrinter using a credit card and Gmail in only a few hours time from now.

owners of priPrinter 3.x, will get 4.x for free. Upgrade to 5.X may cost some percent from full amount or it could be free as well. Sorry not decided yet.

Jim Willis Hello Aron - Just an update to my problem with using my free email account (see my comment above).
Thank you for your help in getting my purchase to finally work using Paypal.
Very BAD experience using Share-It and I'm still mad about that.
Very GOOD experience with the developer's support system.
They replied very quickly to my email and provided a very workable solution to my problem.
I've never used this software but, to judge from all the positive reviews about it, and from my own experience with their support, I think I'm going to be very happy with today's purchase.
