Alexander Deliyannis Thanks for the reply and for the Giveaway. I will be purchasing a license for the Linux version as well.
More generally, I would suggest that you provide a discount for people purchasing licenses to more than one version. If one is using two or three systems in their computers (not so unusual nowadays), the price becomes substantial. Of course, since I'll be getting one version for free, I'm not complaining :-)

Strange, because license name and code are the same for all downloads.

Gabi L Actually it's not that strange :).
For example if you plan on using the Windows OS version of QSnipps on multiple PC's at the same time, that's not allowed...

Gabi L @Richard: Free means exactly what you said. It can be used just like a purchased license. The limitation of this free promotion is that when version 2 of QSnipps will be released, if you decide to upgrade, you won't be able to upgrade at a 50% discounted price like regular buyers do.

Andy Huang My License doesn't seem to work.

I copy and pasted my email and code, and it is saying it doesn't work. I have a + in the email to help me filter bitsdujour emails, would that be the cause?

Had the same problem, until I found out that you should not use your own email, but the one supplied with the registration code.

Stephen Ferg Just a heads up --

If you double-clicking the string (to highlight it) in the confirmation email message, then control+C to copy it to the clip board, you get the following string (which I've enclosed in quotes). Note that trailing blank space.

"bdjpromo@qsnipps.com "

So if you copy and paste the email from your confirmation email message, you MAY have to delete a trailing (and of course invisible) blank space before the registration will work.

Vicki Sprowles Thanks a lot guys. I had already tried it both ways but no go. I restarted it and tried again and it worked. It is bloody cold down here in OZ and like most aussies I have the flu so maybe I did something wrong due to the thickness in my head. lol :)

Gabi L Ok so just a clarification for anyone who is having problems with the registration code:
1. You must use the email address specified in the email you got from BitsDuJour and not your own email address;
2. When you copy/paste the license code to QSnipps, make sure there's no blank space at the end of the registration code. Just press backspace once after you pasted the code.

OMG, so it does!! I could *swear* that when I looked at your web site yesterday, all 3 versions were the same price! I guess maybe I need new glasses even more than I thought I did :-)

Anyway, purchased!! Versions for all 3 OS's for a total cost of $4.95 USD!! What a deal...even if I only ever use *one* of them!!
