Have you ever tried to walk someone through a process on their computer over the phone? It's impossible! It's frustrating! It can even lead to the end of civil relationships with friends and family! Short of driving over to their house and sitting at their computer, what can you do? Well, you can get your hands on a copy of today's discount software promotion, Remote Control Software!

Remote Control Software lets you administer and control computers from anywhere, just as if you were sitting in front of them. With Remote Control Software, there's no local installation, access codes, or technical mumbo jumbo to learn and remember. Your remote user just runs an executable, types in an ID, and you click it. It's the perfect solution for providing remote support to friends, family, and clients.

Once you install Remote Control Software, you'll be able to use your own mouse and keyboard to control other computers, while chatting with the users on the remote end. Everything that you can do on your local machine, you'll be able to do on a remote PC - browse files and folders, transfer files between your computer and theirs using drag and drop, and perform file management tasks like move, rename, delete, and execute. You can even use Remote Control Software to show your own local screen to your remote users for demonstration purposes!

This promotion includes the following:
Remote Control Software - Lite Edition ($99)
Remote Control Software - Standard Edition ($199)
Remote Control Software - Premium Edition ($299)
Remote Control Software - Enterprise Edition ($399)

Antamedia mdoo While Gateway part of software can not be used on these OS versions, it can be used on previous operating systems.

It's more important that Remote Host and Remote Control can be used to work on any OS.

Michael User It does absolutely nothing if the software Host and Remotecontrol works on any other OS, when the Gateway.Component not work under Windows 8.1, Windows 10, and Server 2012.
Because the Gateway is always required for work the host and Remote Control !!
So it is always necessary to set up a Computer ( or virtual machine ) lower then Windows 8 to set up the Gateway !!

What shoud that. You advertise to be COMPATIBLE with up to Windows 10 with all Components at your website !!

NorkDorf Thats too bad it doesn't work correctly, I was looking forward to getting this for my IT company. I guess I'll just stick with Teamviewer where there are no problems at all. Thanks for saving my money Michael!!!!!

KimY Somehow, Remote.exe is NOT as described "Remote is an application you should start on a computer which you want to control remotely. It is suitable for customer support as it allows any user to quickly connect to your system, and to get help from the Control user (you and any user with a control priviledge). You can view desktop, copy files, and chat with remote user."
Remote.exe behaved similar to RemoteControl.exe
Can Support, please download & test Remote.exe to proof me wrong? Thank you in advance.

Antamedia mdoo UPDATE: REMOTE CONTROL IS WIN10 COMPATIBLE

Remote Control files has been updated and issue with running on Win10 and other systems is resolved. Currently tested on Win10, but it's expected to run on any OS.

KimY, please download this update, remote.exe is replaced with correct version.

This software is probably not a good fit for all purposes, just like any other software can do everything. But this should not be a place to promote other software or write about competition.

We are using it to support our large customer base for years, and it's a perfect fit for us. A double click to open any connected computer, saves us significant time on remote connection. If you find your self supporting many computers and wasting time on connecting, test the software if it fits your needs.

Michael User Hallo Antamedia mdoo,

it works !! Great !!

The version information in the 3 ( gateway, remotehost and remote ) files are the same - but it works now perfectly under Windows 10.

Now i will test it and post my result here.

Best regards - Michael

NorkDorf Can you connect to unlimited computers or is there a limit to how many computers you can connect to? I am not talking about simultaneously but say for example I have 20 clients in one day I need to connect to, can I do so unrestricted? 1 user...

Antamedia mdoo Software works with users (or computers) that connects through the gateway.
A user means
- End user that connects using RemoteHost or Remote
- Admin or SuperAdmin that connects using Remote Control

Each of these users connects with username and password.

There are no limits on the number of connections for a user throughout the day.
You can connect to those 20 clients as many times as you want.

NorkDorf So my one time client has to create a user name and password? Or what are the steps to it all?
Apr 29 2016 at 1:41pm Copy Link

Antamedia mdoo You can create username and password in the gateway and provide it to the client to login. One time clients can't simultaneously connect with a single username and passwords, but you can have multiple user accounts. This is easy to test. Run a gateway, create users and login from multiple machines.

CFGuy Hi - I don't see any chart that show the differences between the different versions - Lite, standard, premium enterprise. I looked at vendor website, but could not find such a chart. How can I find out what the differences between the packages are? Can the Antamedia rep post a url with the differences listed, or perhaps a graphical chart highlighting the differences (which is very typical in the software industry today for programs with different levels). Thanks.

KimY Thank you for resolving remote.exe issue.
1) Any support for Encryption?
2) "Number of Users / Computers" Do you mean number of simultaneous Host connections? http://www.antamedia.com/buy/remote/

Antamedia mdoo "Number of Users / Computers" is a number of different (not simultaneous) users or computers that can connect to the system, either as a host or as a control (administrator). To support 4 remote users, you will create 4 username-passwords for those users + one for you as an admin. No encryption in current release. Chart is available on the Buy page.

Dan Amiel Took a closer look at their website. The version offered here is the LITE version, which comes with a maximum number of 5 Users / Computers, whatever that means. You'll have to upgrade to $199 for 20 and even $299 for 100 and even $399 for unlimited. Then, $1200 just to remove branding (!) and they claim so called big shot "customers" like Intel, NASA or Hilton use their software, but strangely not one of them has left a positive feedback in the comment list. Instead, only no name micro businesses scattered around in third world countries. All in all, this kind of offer make me feel like a fish hooked on line for a few months before i get caught. I'll pass.
