Jan-Christoph Ihrens Doesn't the Bundle exist anymore? I can see it mentioned in the feature matrix, and there's even an order button on the German version of the website (that doesn't seem to work), but not on the English version.

Dennis Crane It was bundle of True BoxShot + True Boxshot plug-in for Photoshop. We do not offer this bundle anymore as plug-in isn't very stable with latest versions of Photoshop and requires improvement.

It's difficult to decide which version to take. Overall the TBS Cover Editor offers more options, but I like True BoxShot's multiple objects feature... And no, I won't buy both now. ;-)

Randy Martin I'm confused as to the difference between TBS and TBS Cover Editor. If I wanted ONE to create box shots, which one would I choose and why/why not?

In short:
TBS Cover Editor allows creating 3d covers from scratch as it has built in 2d editor with shapes, templates, 2D effects.

True BoxShot doesn't have 2d editor. So, you must create 2d images of sides in another image editing software and then load it into TBS for rendering 3D model. Also, True BoxShot allows to create scenes of multiple objects.

If you already have images of sides then you may choose True BoxShot. In TBS Cover Editor you may create design from scratch.

I prefer TBS Cover Editor because

- it's a standalone editor (in TBS you can only import existing images and attach colors). If you like, you can import images in TBS Cover editor, too.
- it brings some nice templates with it.
- it offers some more objects (opened DVD case etc.).

One thing I miss in TBS Cover Editor is, as I mentioned above, the possibility to combine several objects in one scene (e. g. a CD in front of a box).

Dennis Crane TBS Cover Editor has a built-in 2D editor. So you need not e.g. Photoshop to draw your side images.
I recommend you to install software and check its features.
